LIEFERUMFANG

STROMVERSORGUNG

Wichtig: Bei niedriger Batteriespannung blinkt das Batteriesymbol

im Display. Dann kurzfristig neue Batterien einlegen.

Batterien einlegen: Batteriefachdeckel öffnen und Batterien einle-

gen (korrekte Polarität beachten). Beim Batteriewechsel immer das

Gerät ausschalten.

BESONDERE ANWENDUNG

S-Digit multi

ist mit einem drehbaren Display ausgestattet, das in einem Bereich von 180° gedreht

werden kann.

Nach dem Einlegen/Wechseln der Batterien schaltet sich das Gerät

automatisch ein.

Das Display zeigt kurz „GOOD“, danach „-0-“ an.

Danach muss eine Kalibrierung durchgeführt werden -

„siehe „Überpprüfung und Kalibrierung“.

Kalibrierung des Neigungsmessers durchführen:

- vor erstmaligem Gebrauch

- vor wichtigen Messungen

- nach einer starken Stoßbelastung

- nach einem grösseren Temperaturwechsel

ÜBERPRÜFUNG DER KALIBRIERUNG

Gerät auf eine möglichst waagerechte Fläche legen. Einschalten. 3 Sek. warten

und Messwert A notieren. Gerät um 180° drehen. 3 Sek. warten und Messwert

B notieren. Wenn die Differenz zwischen beiden Werten grösser als 0,2° ist,

muss das Gerät neu kalibriert werden.

KALIBRIERUNG

Gerät auf eine möglichst waagerechte Fläche legen, einschalten und Taste

gedrückt halten, bis „-0-“ im Display erscheint. 3 Sek. warten und

erneut Taste

CAL

gedrückt halten, bis „-1-“. im Display erscheint. Gerät

um 180° drehen. 3 Sek. warten und Taste

im Display erscheint. Nun ist die Kalibrierung abgeschlossen.

Die Anzeige im Display dreht sich mit, wenn über

Kopf gearbeitet wird. Der Messwert bleibt somit

immer lesbar.

NEIGUNGSMESSUNG

Die beiden Pfeile zeigen an, in welche Richtung der S-Digit multi

gedreht werden muss, um die Waagerechte bzw. die Senkrechte

zu erreichen.

Wenn die Doppel-Pfeile angezeigt werden, ist die Waagerechte

bzw. die Senkrechte erreicht.

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE

UMSTÄNDE, DIE DAS MESSERGEBNIS VERFÄLSCHEN KÖNNEN

Messungen durch Glas- oder Plastikscheiben; verschmutzte Laseraustrittsfenster; Sturz oder starker Stoß. Bitte

Genauigkeit überprüfen.

Große Temperaturveränderungen: Wenn das Gerät aus warmer Umgebung in eine kalte oder umgekehrt gebracht wird,

vor Benutzung einige Minuten warten.

ELEKTROMAGNETISCHE VERTRÄGLICHKEIT

Es kann nicht generell ausgeschlossen werden, dass das Gerät andere Geräte stört (z.B. Navigationseinrichtungen);

durch andere Geräte gestört wird (z.B. elektromagnetische Strahlung bei erhöhter Feldstärke z.B. in der unmittelbaren

Nähe von Industrieanlagen oder Rundfunksendern).

CE-KONFORMITÄT

Das Gerät hat das CE-Zeichen gemäß den Normen EN 61326:1997, EN 55022, EN 61000-4-2/-3.

GARANTIE

Die Garantiezeit beträgt zwei (2) Jahre, beginnend mit dem Verkaufsdatum. Die Garantie erstreckt sich nur auf Mängel

wie Material-oder Herstellungsfehler, sowie die Nichterfüllung zugesicherter Eigenschaften. Ein Garantieanspruch

besteht nur bei bestimmungsgemäßer Verwendung. Mechanischer Verschleiß und äußerliche Zerstörung durch Ge-

waltanwendung und Sturz unterliegen nicht der Garantie. Der Garantieanspruch erlischt, wenn das Gehäuse geöffnet

wurde. Der Hersteller behält sich vor, im Garantiefall die schadhaften Teile instand zusetzen bzw. das Gerät gegen ein

gleiches oder ähnliches (mit gleichen technischen Daten) auszutauschen. Ebenso gilt das Auslaufen der Batterie nicht

als Garantiefall.

Der Benutzer dieses Produktes ist angehalten, sich exakt an die Anweisungen der Bedienungsanleitung zu

halten. Alle Geräte sind vor der Auslieferung genauestens überprüft worden. Der Anwender sollte sich trotzdem

ZUSATZFUNKTIONEN

Automatische Abschaltung

Wenn 20 Min. lang keine Tastenbedienung erfolgt, schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch ab.

Tonsignal

Tonsignal einschalten. Das Gerät zeigt nun durch einen immer intensiver werdenden Ton an, dass man

sich der horizontalen oder vertikalen Position nähert. Wenn das Gerät exakt horizontal oder vertikal

ausgerichtet ist, erfolgt ein Dauerton.

Modefunktionen [1) - 5) ]

1) Neigungsanzeige in ° (14,5°)

2) Neigungsanzeige in % (25,9 %)

3) Anzeige IN/FT (3 1/8 IN/FT)

4) Anzeige IN/FT (3,10 IN/FT)

5) Anzeige mm/m (258,9 mm/m)

Mode-Taste gedrückt halten, um alle Modefunktionen schnell durchlaufen zu lassen. Dabei erfolgt keine

Anzeige von Messwerten. Mode-Taste lösen, um wieder zur Normalanzeige zurückzukehren.

VERBINDUNG MIT KAMERASTATIV

An der Unterseite befindet sich ein 1/4“-Gewinde, um den S-Digit multi

auf einem Kamerastativ zu

befestigen.

BESONDERE FUNKTION IM BEREICH 0° - 90°

0-Setzung in jeder beliebigen Position:

Im Bereich zwischen 0° und 90° kann die Nulllage in jeder Position definiert werden. In der gewünsch-

ten Position die Kalibrierungsfunktion einleiten (

länger als 3 Sek. drücken) - 3 Sek. warten - wieder

dabei nicht drehen. Nun

ist die Nulllage neu definiert und kann für die entsprechende Anwendung eingesetzt werden.

ACHTUNG:

Wir empfehlen, nach Beendigung der Arbeit das Gerät unbedingt wieder in der Horizontalposition auf

Null zu kalibrieren, da sonst evtl. nachfolgende Messungen (z. B. am nächsten Tag oder bei einem ande-

ren Anwender) komplett falsch sein können.

UMGANG UND PFLEGE

Messinstrumente generell sorgsam behandeln. Nach Benutzung mit weichem Tuch reinigen (ggfs. Tuch in etwas

Wasser tränken). Wenn das Gerät feucht war, sorgsam trocknen. Erst in den Koffer oder die Tasche packen, wenn es

absolut trocken ist. Transport nur in Originalbehälter oder -tasche.

WARN- UND SICHERHEITSHINWEISE

· Richten Sie sich nach den Anweisungen der Bedienungsanleitung.

· Anleitung vor Benutzung des Gerätes lesen.

· Blicken Sie niemals in den Laserstrahl, auch nicht mit optischen Instrumenten. Es besteht die Gefahr von Augen-

schäden.

· Laserstrahl nicht auf Personen richten.

· Die Laserebene soll sich über der Augenhöhe von Personen befinden.

· Niemals das Gehäuse öffnen. Reparaturen nur vom autorisierten Fachhändler durchführen lassen.

· Keine Warn- oder Sicherheitshinweise entfernen.

· Lasergerät nicht in Kinderhände gelangen lassen.

· Gerät nicht in explosionsgefährdeter Umgebung betreiben.

· Diese Gebrauchsanleitung ist aufzubewahren und bei Weitergabe der Lasereinrichtung mitzugeben.

LASERKLASSIFIZIERUNG

Das Gerät entspricht der Lasersicherheitsklasse 2 gemäß der Norm DIN EN 60825-1:2008-05.

Das Gerät darf ohne weitere Sicherheitsmaßnahmen eingesetzt werden.

Das Auge ist bei zufälligem, kurzzeitigem Hineinsehen in den Laserstrahl durch den Lidschlussreflex geschützt.

Laserwarnschilder der Klasse 2 sind gut sichtbar am Gerät angebracht.

POWER SUPPLY

Replace the batteries: Open the battery compartment cover and

insert the batteries (ensure correct polarity)

When replacing the batteries always power off the instrument!

Important:

If the battery symbol flashes the batteries need to be replaced.

When the batteries have been replaced the instrument will power

on automatically.

Display indication: „GOOD“, then „-0-“.

Now a calibration must be made - see „Check and calibration“.

CHECK AND CALIBRATION

The display has an automatic digit inversion for over-

head measurements.

CALIBRATION

Set the instrument down on the same flat and even surface, switch it on and

keep the button

CAL

pressed until the display shows „-0-“. Wait approx. 3 sec.

and press the button

CAL

again until the display shows „-1-“. Turn the unit by

180° and set it down on the same position as before. Wait approx. 3 sec. and

press the button

CAL

again until the display shows „-2-“. Now the calibration is

completed.

CHECK OF CALIBRATION

Set the instrument down on a flat and even surface and switch it on. Wait 3 sec.

and note down the measured value (A). Turn the unit by 180° and set it down

on the same position as before. Wait 3 sec. and note down the measured value

(B). If the deviation between the two values A and B is more than 0,2° the unit

has to be calibrated.

IMPORTANT

Calibration of inclinometer:

- before first use

- before important measurements

- after a hit or drop

- after a large fluctuation in temperature

MEASUREMENT OF INCLINATION

The two arrows in the display indicate in which direction the

instrument has to be moved in order to reach the 0° or 90°

position.

The exact 0° or 90° position is shown by double arrows.

CONNECTION TO CAMERA TRIPOD

With 1/4“-thread (at the bottom side) S-Digit multi

can be connected to a camera tripod.

SPECIAL FEATURE WITHIN THE RANGE OF 0° - 90°

O-setting in any position required:

In the range between 0° and 90° the ZERO layer can be defined in any position.

Start the calibration function in the position required (press

CAL

longer than 3 sec.) -

wait 3 sec. - press

CAL

again - wait 3 sec. - press

CAL

again - finalized.

Do not turn the S-Digit multi

during this process.

Now the ZERO layer is defined in the new position and the application required can be started.

ATTENTION:

We recommend to define the ZERO layer in the horizontal position again when you have finished your

application. Otherwise it may happen that for the following measurements the results can be complete-

ly wrong (e.g. when you work the next day or if another user is working with the unit).

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS

Automatic shut-off

If no button is used for 20 min. the instrument will power off automatically.

Sound

Switch the sound function on. The instrument will now show by a sound signal if the horizontal or

vertical position approaches. The closer the position is the denser the sound signal will be.

If the instrument is in correct vertical or horizontal position the sound will be continuous.

Keep the mode button pressed to have all mode functions switch fast. The display will not show any

values. Release the mode button to return to the standard indication.

SAFETY NOTES

SPECIFIC REASONS FOR ERRONEOUS MEASURING RESULTS

Measurements through glass or plastic windows; dirty laser emitting windows; after the instrument has been dropped

or hit. Please check the accuracy.

Large fluctuation of temperature: If the instrument will be used in cold areas after it has been stored in warm areas (or

the other way round) please wait some minutes before carrying out measurements.

ELECTROMAGNETIC ACCEPTABILITY (EMC)

It cannot be completely excluded that this instrument will disturb other instruments (e.g. navigation systems); will be

disturbed by other instruments (e.g. intensive electromagnetic radiation nearby industrial facilities or radio transmit-

ters).

CE-CONFORMITY

The instrument has the CE-mark according to EN 61326:1997, EN 55022, EN 61000-4-2/-3.

CARE AND CLEANING

Handle measuring instruments with care. Clean with soft cloth only after any use. If necessary damp the cloth with

some water. If the instrument is wet clean and dry it carefully. Pack it up only if it is perfectly dry. Transport in original

container / case only.

WARRANTY

This product is warranted by the manufacturer to the original purchaser to be free from defects in material and

workmanship under normal use for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase. During the warranty period,

and upon proof of purchase, the product will be repaired or replaced (with the same or similar model at manufacturers

option), without charge for either parts or labour. In case of a defect please contact the dealer where you originally

purchased this product. The warranty will not apply to this product if it has been misused, abused or altered. Without

limiting the foregoing, leakage of the battery, bending or dropping the unit are presumed to be defects resulting from

misuse or abuse.

EXCEPTIONS FROM RESPONSIBILITY

The user of this product is expected to follow the instructions given in the user manual. Although all instruments

left our warehouse in perfect condition and adjustment the user is expected to carry out periodic checks of the

product’s accuracy and general performance.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

· Follow up the instructions given in the user manual.

· Do not stare into the beam. The laser beam can lead to eye injury. A direct look into the beam (even from greater

distance) can cause damage to your eyes.

· Do not aim the laser beam at persons or animals.

· The laser plane should be set up above the eye level of persons.

· Use the instrument for measuring jobs only.

· Do not open the instrument housing. Repairs should be carried out by authorized workshops only. Please contact

your local dealer.

· Do not remove warning labels or safety instructions.

· Keep the instrument away from children.

· Do not use the instrument in explosive environment.

· The user manual must always be kept with the instrument.

LASER CLASSIFICATION

The instrument is a laser class 2 laser product according to DIN EN 60825-1:2008-05.

It is allowed to use the unit without further safety precautions.

The eye protection is normally secured by the aversion responses and the blink reflex.

The laser instrument is marked with class 2 warning labels.

Please note:

If you return instruments for repair / for adjustment to us please disconnect batteries or rechargeable batteries
from the instrument - this is for safety reasons!

ALIMENTATION EN COURANT

Enlever le couvercle du logement de piles et y passer les piles

(veiller à la polarité correcte). Mettre l‘instrument toujours en arrêt

pour le changement de piles.

Important: Lorsque la tension des piles est trop faible, le symbole

piles clignote sur l‘écran. Installer les nouvelles piles.

Après la mise / le changement de piles l‘instrument se met en

marche automatiquement.

Le display indique brièvement „GOOD“, puis après „-0-“.

Maintenant l‘instrument doit être calibré - voir „Révision et

calibrage“.

RÉVISION ET CALIBRAGE

RÉVISION DU CALIBRAGE

Placer l‘appareil sur une surface aussi horizontale que possible (position A).

Mettre l‘instrument en marche. Attendre 3 sec et noter la valeur de mesure.

Faire tourner l‘appareil de 180° en position B. Attendre 3 sec. et noter la valeur

de mesure. Il faut calibrer à nouveau l‘appareil si la différence entre les deux

valeurs mesurées est supérieure à 0,2°.

CALIBRAGE

Placer l‘appareil sur une surface aussi horizontale que possible, le mettre en

marche, presser la touche

CAL

et attendre l‘affichage „-0-“. Attendre 3 sec.,

presser de nouveau la touche

CAL

et attendre l‘affichage „-1-“. Faire tourner

l‘appareil de 180°, attendre 3 sec., presser la touche

CAL

et attendre l‘affichage

„-2-“ = calibrage achevé.

L‘indication se redresse lorsque l‘on travaille en tenant

l‘instrument au-dessus de la tête. Les valeurs de mesure restent

ainsi toujours lisibles.

IMPORTANT

Effectuer le calibrage du niveau digital:

- avant la première utilisation de l‘appareil

- avant d‘effectuer des mesures importantes

- après un choc très fort

- après un important changement de température

MESURE D‘INCLINAISON

Les deux flèches indiquent le sens dans lequel il faut tourner

l‘appareil S-Digit multi

pour obtenir le plan horizontal ou le plan

vertical.

L‘affichage de la double flèche signifie que le plan horizontal ou

vertical est atteint.

POSSIBILITÉ DE FIXATION SUR UN TRÉPIED D‘APPAREIL PHOTO

Le S-Digit multi

porte sur sa face inférieure un filetage 1/4“, afin de pouvoir le fixer sur un trépied

d‘appareil photo.

FONCTION PARTICULIÈRE SUR LA PLAGE DE 0° À 90°

Mettre l‘appareil à ZERO en position facultatif. Sur la plage de 0° à 90° l‘appareil peut être calibré en

position ZERO en chaque position. Mettre l‘appareil en position désirée et commencer la procédure

de calibrage (presser la touche

CAL

5 sec.) - attendre 3 sec. - presser la touche

encore une fois -

attendre 3 sec. - presser la touche

CAL

encore une fois - achevé. Pendant la procédure ne pas tourner

l‘appareil. Maintenant la position ZERO est définie en position voulu.

ATTENTION:

Après avoir fini la mesure en position particulière nous recommandons de repositonner l‘appareil en

position ZERO horizontale pour ne pas risquer d‘effectuer de fausses mesures consécutives (p. e. le

jour après par un autre opérateur).

FONCTIONS SUPPLÉMENTAIRES

Arrêt automatique

Aprés 20 min. sans opération l‘instrument se met en arrêt automatiquement.

Signal sonore

Mettre en circuit le signal sonore. Par un son d’intensité qui va grandissant, l’instrument indique qu’il

s’approche d’une position horizontale ou verticale. Puis un son continue retentit lorsque l’instrument est

exactement ajusté à l’horizontale ou à la verticale.

Maintenir pressée la touche MODE afin de faire défiler rapidement toutes les fonctions MODE.

Ce faisant, aucune valeur de mesure n’est affichée. Relâcher la touche MODE pour revenir à un

affichage normal.

CIRCONSTANCES POUVANT FAUSSER LES RÉSULTATS DE MESURES

Mesures effectuées à travers des plaques de verre ou de matière plastique; mesures effectuées à travers la fenêtre

de sortie du faisceau laser lorsqu‘elle est sale. Mesures après que le niveau soit tombé ou ait subi un choc très fort.

Mesures effectuées pendant de grandes différences de température - p. ex. lorsque l‘instrument passe rapidement

d‘un milieu très chaud à un autre très froid; attendre alors quelques minutes d‘adaptation avant de réutiliser le niveau.

NETTOYAGE ET REMISAGE

Essuyer l‘instrument mouillé, humide ou sali en le frottant uniquement avec un tissu de nettoyage. Quant à l‘optique,

la nettoyer avec un tissu fin comme p. ex. un tissu feutré de lunettes.

Ne jamais remiser un instrument humide dans un coffret fermé! Le laisser sécher auparavant au moins pendant un

jour dans un local chauffé! Transport seulement dans l‘étui original.

COMPATIBILITÉ ÉLECTROMAGNETIQUE

De manière générale, il n‘est pas exclu que le niveau ne dérange d‘autres instruments (p. ex. les dispositifs de navigati-

on) ou qu‘il puisse lui-même être dérangé par d‘autres appareils (p. ex. soit par un rayonnement électromagnétique dû à

une élévation de l‘intensité du champ, soit par la proximité d‘installations industrielles ou d‘émetteurs de radiodiffusion).

CONFORMITÉ CE

Le niveau porte le label CE conformément aux normes EN 61326:1997, EN 55022, EN 61000-4-2/-3.

GARANTIE

La durée de garantie est de deux (2) ans à partir de la date d‘achat. Cette garantie ne couvre que les défauts tels que le

matériel défectueux ou les anomalies de fabrication, ainsi que le manque des propriétés prévues. Le droit à la garantie

n‘est valabble que si l‘utilisation du niveau a été conforme aux préscriptions. En sont exclus l‘usure mécanique et

un endommagement externe par suite d‘usage de la force et/ou d‘une chute. Le droit à la garantie prend fin lorsque

le boîtier a été ouvert. Dans un cas couvert par la garantie, le fabricant se réserve le droit de remettre en état les

éléments défectueux ou d‘échanger l‘instrument par un autre identique ou similaire (possédant les mêmes caracté-

ristiques techniques). De même, un endommagement résultant d‘un écoulement de l‘accumulateur n‘est pas couvert

par la garantie.

INDICATIONS D‘AVERTISSEMENT ET DE SÉCURITÉ

· Prière de respecter les instructions fournies dans le mode d’emploi du niveau.

· Lire ces instructions avant d’utiliser l’instrument.

· Ne jamais regarder le faisceau laser, même pas avec un appareil optique, à cause du risque de lésions oculaires

pouvant en résulter.

· Ne pas diriger le faisceau laser sur une personne.

· Le plan du faisceau laser doit se trouver à hauteur des yeux de l’opérateur.

· Ne jamais ouvrir soi-même le boîtier du niveau.

· Faire exécuter les réparations éventuelles uniquement par un spécialiste autorisé.

· Ne pas enlever les indications d’avertissement et de sécurité portées sur le niveau

· Éviter que l’instrument ne soit touché ou manipulé par des enfants

· Ne pas utiliser le niveau dans un milieu à risque d’explosions.

UTILISATION CONFORME AUX PRESCRIPTION

Le niveau projette un faisceau laser visible, pour effectuer p. ex. les travaux de mesures suivants: détermination de

hauteurs, tracé d’angles droits, pointage de plans de référence horizontaux et verticaux ainsi qu’obtention de points

d’aplomb (dépendant de l‘instrument).

CLASSIFICATION DES LASERS

Ce niveau correspond à la classe de sécurité des lasers 2, conformément à la norme DIN EN 60825-1:2008-5. De ce

fait, l’instrument peut être utilisé sans avoir recours à d’autres mesures de sécurité. Au cas où l’utilisateur a regardé un

court instant le faisceau laser, les yeux sont tout de même protégés par le réflexe de fermeture des paupières.

Les pictogrammes de danger de la classe 2 sont bien visibles sur le niveau.
