OPERATION

First adjust the channel switch of the laser and the receiver to the same channel (you will find them in

the battery case of the receiver and of the base). Three channels (1, 2 and 3) are available. By using dif-

ferent channels several instruments can be operated on one construction site without any disturbances.

AUTOMATIC TRACKING  FUNCTION

For the axis alignment (vertical line)

 · Fix the line laser on the EasyTRACK

 · Power on the line laser and activate the reception mode

 · Position the line laser over the ground point

 · Press the POWER button (2) of the EasyTRACK (the LED will light red)

 · Power on the receiver (button 4)

 · Select the distance LONG/SHORT with button (1): SHORT = 8 - 10 m, LONG = more than 10 m

 · Position the on-grade mark of the receiver at the target point and power on AUTO (button 6); the

unit will now prepare the tracking procedure.

 · Select the tracking directon with the arrow buttons LEFT or RIGHT.

The tracking procedure will start and a discontinuous beep will sound.

As soon as the laser line has reached the on-grade position of the receiver a permanent beep will sound

and the receving status indication of the display will light green.

In case the laser cannot find the on-grade position the procedure has failed and the receiver will beep

three times. Re-start the procedure with AUTO.

For a new on-grade position the procedure must be re-started with AUTO.
