Overview

myPower

for iPhone is a lithium polymer

battery wrapped in an elegant leather sleeve.
This battery doubles the run time of the iPhone
battery by powering the connected iPhone
on the go. When plugged into a USB power
adapter or computer USB port, myPower for
iPhone will charge its internal battery, and
that of a connected iPhone. A battery level
indicator shows the amount of remaining
battery power.
As a bonus, myPower for iPhone doubles as a
dock for iPhone, enabling the device to sync
with a connected computer while docked and
charging.

Using myPower for iPhone

You can use myPower for iPhone to power

your iPhone, or to charge your iPhone while

connected to external power. When powering

iPhone, myPower for iPhone will bypass the

iPhone battery to power a connected iPhone,

thus extending the overall life of the iPhone

battery. The battery will not charge iPhone

unless connected to an external power source.
myPower for iPhone is charged in two ways: by

connecting to a USB power adapter, or to a USB

port on a computer. The included USB cable is

used to charge the device. If you are using an

iPhone-compliant USB power adapter, you also

may charge your iPhone at the same time by

inserting the iPhone in the case while connected

to an external power source.
As a bonus feature, myPower for iPhone

doubles as a dock to sync iPhone to your

computer when connected via the USB cable.

In this case, myPower for iPhone will both sync

and charge iPhone.

Inserting iPhone into the Case

Placing iPhone in the Case

1. Slide iPhone into the case, ensuring that the

iPhone is fully docked onto the 30-pin

connector in the bottom of the case.

2. Snap the tab in place to secure iPhone.
3. Use iPhone as you would normally. The

iPhone battery will not be used while iPhone

is docked in the case.

Removing iPhone from the Case

1. Unsnap the tab.
2. Gently pull iPhone from the case.

Viewing the Battery Capacity

When iPhone is docked into the case, the

Battery Level Indicator on the bottom left side of

myPower for iPhone will indicate the remaining

battery capacity as follows:
Green (65%-100%)
Orange (30%-65%)
Red (1%-30%)

Charging myPower for iPhone

An empty myPower for iPhone will charge in

about 3 hours using an iPhone compliant power

adapter. Both empty batteries can be charged in

about 6 hours.
1. Connect the mini USB connector to the mini

USB port on myPower for iPhone.

2. Connect the USB connector to a USB power

adapter or to a USB port on a computer.

The battery capacity indicator will turn red

to indicate the myPower for iPhone battery

is being charged. If connected, the iPhone

battery charging status indicator will indicate

charging.

3. Unplug the USB cable when the battery

capacity indicator changes from red to green

as the battery is fully charged.

Note: If you are charging iPhone at the same

time, you must use an iPhone-compliant USB

adapter.

Syncing iPhone

The intelligent design of myPower for iPhone

enables you to sync iPhone while charging it via

a USB port on your computer.
1. Connect the mini USB connector to the mini

USB port on myPower for iPhone.

2. Connect the USB connector to a USB port

on a computer. iPhone will sync with your

computer.

Storing myPower for iPhone

Lithium polymer batteries must be used

consistently for maximum performance.

Therefore, if you do not use the battery often,

you should complete a charge cycle (discharge/

recharge the battery) once a month.
While not in use, store myPower for iPhone in a

dry area where the temperature is between -4°

and 113° F (-20 and 45°C). Extreme tempera-

tures can damage the battery, and the battery

life will decrease with higher temperatures or a

moist environment.

Troubleshooting

If myPower for iPhone does not power iPhone,

take these steps:
1. Verify that iPhone is properly docked into the

30-pin connector at the bottom of the case.

2. Check the Battery Level Indicator to verify that

myPower for iPhone is charged.
