INTRODUCTION:
Congratulations on purchasing the Teddy Bear Camera. TeddiCAM is the next step in baby monitoring. It uses
2.4GHz wireless technology to transmit live color video and audio from the nursery to any TV in your home.
Because it works on either batteries or an adapter, you can easily move TeddiCAM to any room. Let TeddiCAM
be another pair of eyes and ears when you’re busy*.
You can even record what TeddiCAM sees onto your VCR
when you’re not at home.

INSTALLATION:
BEAR CAMERA
1. Position the Bear Video camera in a suitable location for surveillance. The camera is located in the left eye of
the bear
2. Unzip the back of the bear and pull out the battery compartment
Note: You can power the bear camera using a 9V alkaline battery (not included) or the provided 9V DC
power adapter
3. You will also see a 4 channel dip switch and power switch located on the side of the battery compartment.
The channel dip switch is factory set to channel 1. A corresponding channel 1 setting must also be selected
on the receiver so that the receiver communicates with the bear camera. Make sure the power switch is set
for “ON”
4. If you are using the AC power adapter plug it into the DC Input jack on the side of the battery compartment
5. Plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet

Video Recording Set-up ( Using a VCR )
1. Follow the normal setup procedures for the Bear video camera and receiver.
2. Insert the (yellow & white) cable plugs into the Video Input and Audio Input jacks on your VCR.
Connect another video/audio cable from the Video / Audio output on your VCR to the Video / Audio
Input Jacks of your television
3. Tune your VCR for an AUX or A/V channel (Consult the VCR’s manufacturer if you can not find this video
source)

CAUTION
:
Make all of the necessary wire jack connections before plugging the AC Power
Adaptor into an electrical outlet, as a risk of electrical shock may exist. Keep away
from water, and high humidity
1. Insert the 3.5 mm Ø cable plug into the A/V Output Jack on the receiver.
2. Insert the (yellow & white) cable plugs into the Video Input and Audio Input jacks on your TV.
3.
Connect the AC Power Adaptor Jack end to the 9V DC Power Input Jack of the receiver.
4.
Select/match the receiver channel to the desired video camera transmission channel. ( e.g.
If channel 1 on receiver is selected, then Channel 1 on the Bear camera should be selected ).
5. Plug the AC Power Adaptor into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.
6. Slide the ON/OFF Power switch to the ON position.
7. Television Set configuration:
a.
Turn on the power to the television set (TV).
b.
Switch the TV to an A/V or AUX channel.
c.
Adjust the TV volume and picture, as desired.
8.
Unplug the AC Power Adaptor from the electrical outlet when it is not in use or is
left unattended.

INSTALLATION TIP
NOTE: The transmission range of the Bear video camera is up to 300 ft.
wireless transmission (open field). Real distances depend on its operating environment.
If you are receiving poor video images from the camera, try shortening the transmission
range.Reposition and/or adjust the Bear video camera if video transmission is being
degraded by obstructions in its operating environment.
