the mini USB cable included in the package with your speaker.
Connect the mini USB part of the plug to the ‘IN 5V’ on the
speaker. Connect the other end (USB end of the cable) to any
USB port. This can be the USB port on a computer, wall adaptor
or car charger.
Once connected the Techobe will automatically charge. A red light
blinking on the control panel will indicate that the speaker is charging.
Red light will turn off once the speaker is fully charged. A full charge
takes approximately 2 hrs. Partial charging will not affect the life of
the battery. Do not store the Techobe with a dead battery.

You can charge the Techobe BT301 speaker and play
audio at the same time.

The Techobe speaker
will only automatically connect to the last
Bluetooth device it was connected to. If your paired device does
not automatically connect, go to the Bluetooth menu on your
device and select “Techobe BT301” from the list. If you have an
NFC enabled device, make sure the NFC functionality is turned

TROUBLESHOOTING / FAQ:
1. I am having Bluetooth pairing or connection problems,
what do I do?
A. Make sure your Bluetooth device is turned ON and the
Bluetooth functionality is on the discoverable mode. Blinking blue
light on the Techobe speaker means that the speaker is ready to
accept connections.
B. Make sure your speaker is not already connected with another
device. Easiest way to determine this is if the Bluetooth indicator
has a steady blue light.
C. If you want to connect with another device, disconnect (you
don’t need to unpair) the previously connected device (you will
see the Bluetooth indicator on the top of the speaker change to a
blinking blue pattern) - it’s now ready to accept connections. Try
pairing again.
D. If you had already paired your device and connection was
successful prior but now your connection is failing or getting a
connection error, unpair / forget device (for IOS devices) from
your phone or mp3 player and pair again. Now try to connect.
E. If you are pairing your device to the speaker for the first time,
after you turn ON the speaker and when you see a steady blinking
blue light, select “Techobe BT301” from the list of discovered
Bluetooth devices to pair.
F. When you are turning ON the speaker it automatically tries
to connect to the last paired device. If it cannot find the last
paired device and you have paired multiple devices, it will try to
establish connection with the previously paired devices. If none
of the paired devices are available to connect, it will turn to a
discoverable mode. Please wait until this is accomplished then
try pairing again.
G. For android devices after unpairing the speaker it may show up
on the available devices. This could happen even if the speaker
is turned OFF. If you are trying to pair again, please make sure
your speaker is turned ON. (We recommend having your android
device close to the speaker), wait for few seconds till you see the
blue light blinking (Bluetooth indicator on the top of the speaker)
and allow for the speaker to establish a connection. Turn ON
Bluetooth on your phone / player. Click on “Scan” for Bluetooth
devices from your phone / tablet to discover “Techobe BT301.”
Click on “Techobe BT301” to connect.

2. My Speaker does not turn ON, what do I do?
A. Please make sure you have charged your speakers. A steady
red light in the center of the speaker means that the speaker is
charging. We recommend you charge for a minimum of 2 hours.
The red light indicator turns off when the speaker is fully charged.
3. My speaker does not play, what do I do?
A. Press and hold the POWER ON / OFF button for 3 seconds. An
easy way to tell if the speaker is on is if the blue LED lights on top
of the speaker are illuminated. Make sure the speaker is charged.
If you are not sure if the battery is charged attach the charging
mini USB cable to the Techobe speaker and plug the other end
into any active USB port.
B. If connected wirelessly check the status of the device that is
connected. Make sure that the Techobe is paired, connected and
that the media is playing. Make sure that the “Techobe BT301” is
the active paired Bluetooth device.
C. Try turning both the Techobe speaker and the device OFF and
then back ON. Re-pair the device.
D. Make sure your device is less than 30 feet (10m) to the
Techobe speaker.
4. My speaker has poor sound quality and static, what do I do?
A. Make sure the Techobe battery is charged.
B. Make sure your device is less than 30 feet (10m) to the
Techobe speaker.
C. Make sure that your device is not in the middle of downloading
music from a cloud service – which may be interrupting play.
D. In older phones and tablets, there are older versions of
Bluetooth technology. These (older) versions are sufficient to use
a wireless mouse or keyboard but do not transfer data quickly
enough to play music. You can still plug the Techobe to the device
using the supplied audio cable for excellent sound quality.
4. My touch screen is not responding, what do I do?
A. Make sure the touch screen is not in locked mode. To enable
the top controls press the power button quickly. If you are still
experiencing issues turn the speaker OFF and then ON.
