Före första användning

Innan du använder din frys:
•
Ta bort yttre och inre förpackningsmaterial och tejper. Släng detta i enlighet med de lokala
reglerna för materialåtervinning.
•
Kontrollera att det inte finns några skador på frys eller inredning.
•
Innan du ansluter frysen till strömkällan, låt den stå upprätt i ca 2 timmar. Detta kommer
att minska risken för fel i kylsystemet orsakade av hantering under transporten. Om den
transporterats liggande måste den stå i 6 timmar innan den ansluts till spänningen.
•
Rengör insidan med ljummet vatten och ev milt rengöringsmedel med en mjuk trasa.
Installation
3.
Installera frysen
•
Denna apparat är avsedd att stå fritt, och bör inte vara försänkt eller inbyggd.
•
Placera frysen på ett golv som är stark nog för frysen när den är fullastad.
•
Se till att apparaten står vågrätt. Fötterna är justerbara för detta ändamål. Står den snett
kan dörrens funktion påverkas och står den inte stadigt kan detta resultera i vibrationer och
ökat buller
•
Tillåt 20 cm utrymme mellan ryggen och sidorna av frysen, för luftcirkulation.
•
Placera inte frysen i direkt solljus och ej i direkt anslutning till värmekällor (spis, värmare,
kylare, osv). Direkt solljus kan påverka akryl beläggning och värmekällor kan öka
elförbrukningen. Extrem kall omgivningstemperatur kan också medföra att inte frysen
fungerar korrekt.
•
Undvik att placera frysen i fuktiga utrymmen.
•
Anslut frysen till ett separat, rätt installerat jordat vägguttag. Apparaten får inte under
några omständigheter användas i ett ojordat uttag. Vid eventuella tveksamheter kontakta
en certifierad elektriker eller ett auktoriserat servicecenter.
•
När du startat frysen, låt den kylas ner i 2-3 timmar innan du lägger mat i frysen.
•
Har frysen transporterats liggande eller lutats mer än 45° skall den så upprätt i 6 timmar
innan den startas.

Användning
4.
För din egen säkerhet läs följande information
Temperaturkontroll
•
Frysen har en kontroll för att reglera temperaturen. Temperaturregleringen är placerad
upptill innanför dörren.
•
Temperaturvredet är markerat med siffror,
-Låg siffra = låg kyleffekt (varmast)
-Hög siffra = hög kyleffekt (kallast).
Ställ in till den inställning som bäst passar dina behov.
•
Om du väljer att ändra termostaten, justera med en siffra i taget. Låt några timmar gå för att
temperaturen ska hinna stabiliseras mellan justeringarna.
•
För att stänga av frysen helt måste väggkontakten tas ur.
Förvaring av fryst mat
När du använder frysen för första gången eller efter avfrostning, ställ
temperaturkontrollen i högsta läget i minst två timmar innan du lägger det som skall
lagras.
Alla frysta livsmedel du köper ska placeras i frysen så snart som möjligt för att undvika att
de hinner tina.
Lagringsrekommendation tryckt på förpackningen av frysta livsmedel av tillverkarna bör
alltid följas.
Var försiktig när du lägger in fryst mat så att inte frysslingorna skadas.
Infrysning av färska livsmedel
Se till att frysningen utförs under de mest hygieniska förhållanden eftersom frysning inte
ensam skyddar maten. Det är lämpligt att frysa maten genom att packa det i separata
måltidsportioner och inte i bulk.
Placera aldrig varma eller ens ljumna livsmedel i frysen. Innan lagring av frysta livsmedel,
packa det i plastpåsar eller frysbehållare och placera i frysen. Frys aldrig ner för mycket
samtidigt.
Obs: Placera aldrig flaskor med mat eller dryck i frysen.
För bästa prestanda, se till att det finns tillräckligt med utrymme i frysen för luft att
cirkulera runt paketen.
Avfrostning av frysen
5.
För mest effektiv drift och minimal energiförbrukning, frosta av frysen när frosten på
innerväggarna är ca 5 - 10 mm tjock. Försök välja en tidpunkt då mängden frysta livsmedel
är liten.
Stäng av frysen genom att ta ut stickkontakten ur vägguttaget.
Öppna dörren och flytta all mat till en plats där den inte kan tina.
Placera en låg form på golvet för att fånga upp smält vatten. Kontrollera kärlet då och då
så att vattnet inte svämmar över.
Låt temperaturen stiga naturligt tills frosten smälter. Smältningen kan påskyndas genom
att ställa in skålar med varmt vatten i frysen.
Torka sedan bort återstående is och vatten. Gör rent insidan. Torka torrt.
Sätt på frysen igen och stäng dörren. Låt den stå på en timma.
Lägg tillbaka den frysta maten.
VARNING
Använd inte vassa eller metalliska verktyg för att avlägsna is och frost, eftersom det kan skada
kylrör och plastdelar samt påverka garantin.

Varning
1.
Apparaten måste kopplas ur efter användning och före underhåll på apparaten.
2.
Denna apparat är inte avsedd att användas av personer (inklusive barn) med nedsatt fysisk,
sensorisk eller mental förmåga, eller brist på erfarenhet och kunskap, såvida de inte
övervakas eller får instruktioner angående användning av apparaten av en person som
ansvarar för deras säkerhet.

Barn bör övervakas så att de inte leker med apparaten.
4.
Om nätsladden är skadad måste den bytas ut av tillverkaren, dess servicerepresentant eller
motsvarande behörig person för att undvika fara.

6.
Rengöring
Rengöring av frysen
•
Vid installationen av din nya apparat, rekommenderas det att den rengöras grundligt.
•
Dra ur väggkontakten före rengöring ta bort maten och frosta av enligt ovan.
•
Tvätta insidan med en fuktig varm trasa som innehåller ett milt rengöringsmedel.
•
Var noga med att hålla dörren packningen (tätning) ren för att enheten ska fungera
effektivt.
•
Utsidan av frysen bör rengöras med milt rengöringsmedel och varmt vatten.
•
Torka av insidan och utsidan med en mjuk trasa.
•
Kondensrören på baksidan ska dammsugas när de är dammiga eller smutsiga.
•
Det rekommenderas att enheten ska rengöras varje gång den avfrostas för att hålla den
luktfritt och fungera effektivt.
Semester
•
Ta bort all mat.
•
Koppla ur frysen.
•
Frosta ur och rengör frysen.
•
Lämna dörren öppen en aning för att undvika kondens, mögel eller lukt.
•
Var ytterst försiktig när det gäller barn. Enheten ska inte vara tillgänglig för barnlek.

7.
Du kan lätt lösa många vanliga frysproblem och spara kostnader för en eventuell service. Prova
förslagen nedan för att se om du kan lösa eventuella problem innan du ringer en reparatör.

Dörren hålls öppen för länge eller öppnas för ofta. Varm
luft kommer in i frysen varje gång dörren öppnas. Öppna
dörren mindre ofta.
Dörren är inte stängd ordentligt.
Dörrens packning sluter inte tätt.
En stor mängd varm eller het mat kan ha lagrats nyligen.
Vänta tills frysen har fått en chans att nå sin valda
temperatur.
Frysen har nyligen varit bortkopplad en tid. Fyra timmar
krävs för att frysen skall komma ner i temperatur.
Ventilationen runt frysen är för dålig.
Knäppande eller knakande ljud
när kompressorn startar.
Metalldelar expanderar eller krymper som i
varmvattenledningar. Detta är normalt. Ljudet minskar
eller försvinner när frysen kommer igång
Bubblande eller gurglande ljud,
som vatten kokar.
Köldmedium (används för att kyla frysen) cirkulerar i hela
systemet. Detta är normalt.
Vibrationer, oljud.
Kontrollera att frysen står plant och stabilt.
Golvet är ojämn eller svagt. Frysen vaggar på golvet när
den flyttas något. Var noga med golvet är tillräckligt stabilt.
Är golvet ojämnt justera fötterna så att frysen står jämnt
och stabilt.
Frysen vidrör väggen, flytta den från väggen.

Energispartips
8.
Frysen bör placeras i den svalaste delen av rummet, borta från värmealstrande apparater
eller kanaler för uppvärmning, och ej i direkt solljus.
Låt lagad mat svalna till rumstemperatur innan den läggs in i frysen.
Frys inte ner för mycket samtidigt. Mat som fryses ner för sakta kan förlora i kvalitet eller
förstöras.
Var noga med att paketera livsmedel på rätt sätt, och torka behållare torrt innan du
placerar dem i frysen. Detta minskar isbildning i frysen. Fryslådor ska inte vara isolerade
Organisera och märka förpackningar för att minska antalet dörröppningar och sökandet.
Ta bort så många objekt som behövs på en gång, och stäng dörren så fort som möjligt.
Undvik att öppna dörren för ofta, särskilt inte när vädret är fuktigt och varm. När du
öppnar dörren, tänk på att stänga den så fort som möjligt.
Garantivillkor

Garantitiden för denna produkt är 1 år från och med inköpsdatum. Under denna period
repareras alla defekter i material eller utförande kostnadsfritt. Följande villkor gäller rörande
denna garanti:

Vi tillbakavisar uttryckligen alla övriga ersättningskrav, inklusive ersättning för följdskador.
2.
Garantin förlängs inte i samband med reparationer eller byten av delar som sker inom
garantiperioden.
3.
Om produkten modifieras, tillförs delar som inte är original eller repareras av en tredje part
gäller inte garantin längre.

4.
Garantin gäller endast om daterat köpebevis i original visas upp och om detta köpebevis inte
innehåller några ändringar.
5.
Garantin täcker inte skador som uppstått genom hantering som inte är i enlighet med
bruksanvisningen, försummelse eller skadegörelse

Köparen står för transportkostnader och ansvarar för eventuella risker i samband med att
produkten eller dess delar förflyttas.
För att undvika onödiga kostnader rekommenderar vi att du alltid först läser igenom
bruksanvisningen noga. Om denna inte erbjuder någon lösning bör du ta med produkten till
återförsäljaren för reparation.

This appliance corresponds to the CE directives.
2.
Before first use
Remove the exterior and interior packing material and tape. Dispose the packing material
according to your local environmental requirements.
Check for transport damages.
Before connecting the freezer to the power source, let it stand upright for approximately 2
hours. This will reduce the possibility of a malfunction in the cooling system from handling
during transportation.
Clean the interior surface with lukewarm water and mild detergent using a soft cloth.
3.
Installation
Installing Your Freezer
This appliance is designed to be free standing only, and should not be recessed or built-in.
Place your freezer on a floor that is strong enough to support the freezer when it is fully
loaded.
Make sure to level the appliance properly. The feet are adjustable for this purpose. If out of
level the door function can be bad and not standing steady can result in vibrations and
increased noise.
Allow 20 cm of space between the back and sides of the freezer, which allows the proper air
circulation.
Locate the freezer away from direct sunlight and sources of heat (stove, heater, radiator,
etc.). Direct sunlight may affect the acrylic coating and heat sources may increase electrical
consumption. Extreme cold ambient temperatures may also cause the freezer not to
perform properly.
Avoid locating the freezer in moist areas.
Plug the freezer into an exclusive, properly installed-grounded wall outlet. Do not under any
circumstances cut or remove the third (ground) prong from the power cord. Any questions
concerning power and/or grounding should be directed toward a certified electrician or an
authorized service center. Do not use an extension cord.
If the appliance during transport or installation has been laying or tilted more than 45°,
allow the unit to rest standing upright for at least 6 hours before switching it on.

After plugging the appliance into a wall outlet, allow the unit to cool down for 2~3 hours
before placing food in the freezer compartment.
4.
Operation
Temperature Control
To obtain the best possible results from your Freezer, it is important that you operate it
properly.
Your freezer has one control for regulating the temperature. The temperature control is
located at the top inside the door.
The temperature control is marked with figures.
-Low figure = low cooling effect (warmest)
-High figure = high cooling effect (coldest).
Adjust the temperature control to the setting that best suits your needs.
To shut the freezer totally off, the plug must be removed from the wall socket.
Store Frozen Food
When using the freezer for the first time or after defrosting, turn the temperature control to max
cooling for at least two hours before loading the food to be stored.
All frozen food products you purchase should be placed in the freezer as soon as possible to
avoid the frozen food from defrosting.
Storage recommendation printed on the packaging of frozen food by the manufacturers should
always be followed.
Be careful that the drawer mustn’t mangle the refrigeration pipeline
Freezing Fresh Food
Ensure that your freezing operations are carried out under the most hygienic conditions as
freezing alone does not sterilize the food. It is advisable to freeze the food by packing it into
separate meal portions and not in bulk form. Never put hot or even warm food into the freezer.
Prior to storing the frozen food, pack it in plastic bags, aluminum sheets or freezing containers
and place into the freezer. Never freeze too much at the same time.
Note:
Never put bottled food or drinks in the freezer compartment.
For best performance, leave enough space in the Freezer compartment for air to circulate
around the packages.
5.
Defrosting Your Freezer
Choose a time when the stock of frozen food is low.
Remove the mains plug from the wall socket, open the door and move all the food to a cool place.
Defrost using a plastic scraper, or let the temperature rise naturally until the frost melts. Then
wipe away the remaining ice and water, after this plug the freezer back into the mains supply.
CAUTION
Remove the frozen food from the freezer and place it in a cooler to protect the food.
Unplug the freezer. The Power Supply light should be off (green light out).
Place a shallow pan outside drain outlet. The defrost water will drain out.
Check the pan occasionally so the water does not overflow.
Clean the interior of the freezer.
Reset the thermostat to desired setting.
Allow the cabinet to cool for one hour.
Return food to the freezer.
Note
: To avoid damaging the freezing compartment wall, do not use any sharp objects to remove
the frost or separate the frozen food.

Warning
1.
The appliance has to be unplugged after use and before carrying out user maintenance on
the appliance.
2.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
3.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
4.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
5.
Please abandon the refrigerator according to local regulators for it use flammable blowing
gas and refrigerant.
If the above methods are not yet effective, please contact with the maintenance service
department for help without any delay.
6.
Cleaning and maintenance
Before you start to clean your freezer remove the mains plug from the power supply.
Use a clean sponge or soft and a mild detergent in warm water. Do not use abrasive or harsh
cleaners.
Hand wash, rinse and dry all surfaces thoroughly.
Do not use cleaning waxes, concentrated detergents, bleaches or cleaners containing
petroleum on plastics and rubber parts.
Never use paper towels, window sprays, scouring cleansers or flammable fluids on plastic
parts as these can scratch or damage material.
Clean with a cloth soaked in this solution and then dry with a soft cloth.
It is recommended to clean the unit each time it is defrosted to help keep the unit odor free
and running efficiently.
Vacation Time
Unplug the freezer.
Defrost and clean the freezer.
Leave the door open slightly to avoid possible formation of condensation, mold, or odors.
Use extreme caution in the case of children. The unit should not be accessible to child’s
play.
7.
Troubleshooting guide
You can solve many common freezer problems easily, saving you the cost of a possible service
call. Try the suggestions below to see if you can solve the problem before calling the servicer.

Freezer does not operate.

The freezer is not level.
The gasket is dirty.

Temperature inside the freezer is
too warm.
Temperature control is set too warm. Turn the control to a
cooler setting and allow several hours for the temperature
to stabilize.
Door is kept open too long or is opened too frequently.-
Open the door less often.
The door is not closed completely.
The door gasket does not seal properly.
A large amount of warm or hot food might have been stored

recently. Wait until the freezer has had a chance to reach
its selected temperature.
The freezer has recently been disconnected for a period of
time. Four hours are required for the freezer to cool down
completely.
The freezer does not have the correct clearances for
ventilation.
The freezer is noisy when
running
Check to assure that the freezer is level.
Floor is uneven or weak. Freezer rocks on the floor when it
is moved slightly. Be sure floor can adequately support
freezer. Level the freezer by adjusting the feet.
The freezer is touching the wall. Re-level the freezer and
move it from the wall.
Popping or cracking sound when
compressor comes on.
Metal parts undergo expansion and contraction, as in hot
water pipes. This is normal. Sound will level off or
disappear as freezer continues to run.
Bubbling or gurgling sound, like
water boiling.
This is normal. Refrigerant (used to cool freezer) is
circulating throughout the system.
8. Energy saving tips
The freezer should be located in the coolest area of the room, away from heat producing
appliances or heating ducts, and out of the direct sunlight.
Let hot foods cool to room temperature before placing in the freezer. Overloading the
freezer forces the compressor to run longer. Foods that freeze too slowly may lose quality,
or spoil.
Be sure to wrap foods properly, and wipe containers dry before placing them in the freezer.
This cuts down on frost build-up inside the freezer.
Freezer storage bin should not be lined with aluminum foil, wax paper, or paper toweling.
Liners interfere with cold air circulation, making the freezer less efficient.
Organize and label food to reduce door openings and extended searches. Remove as many
items as needed at one time, and close the door as soon as possible.
Try not to open the door too often, especially when the weather is wet and hot. Once you
open the door, mind to close it as soon as possible.
9. Warranty Provisions
This product comes with a 12-month warranty starting on the date of purchase. Within this
period any defects in material or workmanship will be repaired without any charge. The
following provisions shall apply regarding this warranty:
1.
We expressly dismiss all other claims for damage, including consequential damages;
2.
Any repairs or replacements of components within the term of the warranty will not
result in an extension of the term of the warranty;
3.
The warranty will no longer apply if the product has been modified, non-original parts
have been used, or if it has been repaired by third parties;
4.
The warranty will only apply, when you present the original, dated proof of purchase,
provided no changes have been made to it;
5.
The warranty will not apply to damage caused by actions not in compliance with the
Directions for Use, neglect, vandalism;
6.
Transportation costs and the risk involved during the transportation of the product or its
components will always be the responsibility of the purchaser.

In order to avoid unnecessary costs, we recommend that you always read the Directions for Use
carefully first. If they offer no solution, please take the product to your dealer for repair.
10. Environmental Protection
Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with household waste.
Please recycle where facilities exist. Check with your Local Authority or retailer for
recycling advice.
