2. LED display
COOL
:
On cooling mode, the led will illuminate.
FAN:
On fan mode, the led will illuminate.
DRY:
ON dehumidifying mode, the led will illuminate.
COMP:
When compressor is working, the led will illuminate.
FULL:
When water is full in the machine, the led will illuminate.
ADD WATER
:
When the LED is illuminated, add some water to the reservoir (10).
HIGH
:
When the fan speed is high, the led will illuminate.
MED:
When the fan speed is medium, the led will illuminate.
LOW:
When the fan speed is low, the led will illuminate.
Indicates the time and temperature. ERROR Display E
X

will appear when there is a fault. (refer to Trouble Shooting & Self
Diagnosis on page 13)
Display will read E4 when the coil is defrosting, this is normal.
Celsius and Fahrenheit degree indicator.

LEV18 remote control
To change the display setting from Celsius to Fahrenheit, press the Up and
Down button together on the control panel for at least 2 seconds.

INSTALLATION
1. Positioning
Install the unit on a dry, flat surface.
Leave at least 50cm space around the
unit (when the hose is not connected).
(Fig.5)
2. AIR Exhaust Duct Mounting
1) Fix the square end of the exhaust duct
2) Put the other end (outlet) to the
nearest window. Do not block the
outlet & Leave at least 50cm
for airflow around it.
NOTE:
The length of the air exhaust duct is between 600cm & 1700cm or 1800cm. To save energy,
we suggest using the minimum length of the air exhaust duct.
This length has been designed according to the specifications of the air conditioner.
Do not use an extension or different hose as this may lead to Air Conditioner
malfunction.
3. Window Kit Installation
The window kit has been designed to fit most standard vertical and horizontal windows.
However, it may be necessary for you to modify some aspects of the installation procedures
for certain types of windows. Please refer to the illustrations. (Fig.7 and Fig.8)
to the exhaust air grille.

MAINTENANCE
Cleaning
Turn off the unit and pull the plug out of the socket before any cleaning.
1. Clean the surface
Clean the surface of the unit with a duster or a damp soft cloth.
Do not use chemical solvents such as benzene, alcohol, gasoline etc,
or the surface may be damaged or even deformed.
2. Clean the air filter
If the air filter is blocked with a lot of
dust, the efficiency will reduce. You
should clean the filters every two
weeks.
1) Pull out the air filter as Fig.14.
2) Wash the air filters by immersing
them gently into warm (40
°
C or 104
°
F) water with neutral detergent.
Rinse the filter and dry it in a
shaded place.
3) Push the air filter back into the
original position.
End of season
1. Uncap the water drain lid, remove the rubber plug to drain the water. You can remove
the water entirely by slanting the unit back.
Setting the fan mode, then press the Fan button for 5 seconds until the lower fan
works. After that, operate the unit in fan mode for half a day until the pipe is dry. In
this way the inside of the unit will be dry and possible mildew growth can be
suppressed.
2. Switch off the unit and disconnect the plug from the power supply.
3. Neaten the Power Cord using the storage hooks refer fig.2 (11).
4. Remove the flexible exhaust air duct and store safely.
5. Cover the unit with a plastic bag, and store in a dry place.
6. Remove the batteries from the remote control.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
Before contacting professional service, please firstly check the following.

Insert the plug firmly.
Change the fuse or switch on.

Are air filters very dirty?
Is the set temperature suitable?
Is fan speed set at low?
Clear any blockages.
Remove the heat source.
Clean the air filters.
Change temperature.
Select suitable fan speed.
Unit noisy and
vibrating
Is it inclined?
Place it in a flat place.
The unit starts and
stops frequently
Is the exhaust tube fitted
correctly or is it bent?
Have you added extra exhaust
duct?
Set the exhaust tube correctly.
Remove the extra duct.
Immediately Stop the unit and disconnect in case of the following & Contact a
professional service advisor for assistance.

Household Fuses, Circuit Breakers or Safety Switches repeatedly fail with unit plugged in.
·
The power cord is very hot, disfigured or broken.
·
There is abnormal odor or smoke from the unit.

, it means that the coil is defrosting. This is a normal status.

WARRANTY
Levanté International Pty. Ltd. reserve the right to reject any warranty claim deemed to be
false. Retailers must have warranty claims authorised by a representative of Levanté
International.
If you believe your product to be faulty and under warranty you are required to do the
following:
1.
Return the product with all the accessories, at your expense, to the place of purchase for
assessment by an authorised representative of Levanté International.
2.
This may require leaving the product at the place of purchase.
3.
If the product is deemed faulty and under warranty, the place of purchase of the product
will order a replacement portable air conditioner to which Levanté International, at our cost,
will deliver the portable air conditioner to the place of purchase.
4.
The consumer will then be required, at their cost, to pick up the replacement portable air
conditioner from the place of purchase.
5.
If the portable air conditioner is faulty but not deemed to be under warranty, an explanation
will be provided to the consumer and that the faulty portable air conditioner can be picked
up by the customer from the place of purchase.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer
Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation
for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the
goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does
not amount to a major failure.

, therefore any replacement of faulty parts or repairs of any kind must be carried
out by a qualified person and authorised by Levanté International Pty Ltd or their approved
