I. IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using the Dessert Master, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
1.
This appliance is designed for household use only. Do not use outdoors or for
commercial and/or industrial purposes.
2.
Use this appliance only for its intended purpose as outlined in this manual.
3.
Do not touch the Dessert Masters hot surfaces such as Stainless Steel Container
and Heating Plate.
4.
To prevent receiving an electric shock, make sure the power cord, plug, heating
plate, control panel or the appliances housing is not immersed in water or other
liquid.
5.
Adult supervision is necessary when this appliance is used by or near children
under 18 years of age.
6.
Unplug from power outlet when the appliance is not in use or before cleaning.
7.
Make sure the power cord or plug is not damaged. If the appliance malfunctions
or has been damaged in any manner, do not try to repair it. Return the appliance
to our customer service centre for inspection, repairs or adjustments.
8.
The use of accessory attachments that have not been approved by the appliance
manufacturer is not recommended, as this may result in fire, cause an electric
shock and/or cause personal injury.
9.
Other food or water containers should not be placed on the heating plate. Use
ONLY the Stainless Steel Container provided.
10. Ensure the power cord does not hang over the edge of the table or counter or
touch a hot surface.
11. The appliance should not be placed near a hot gas or electric burner or in a
heated oven.
12. The appliance must only be operated on a flat surface and away from the edge of
a counter or table to avoid accidental tipping.
13. Extreme caution must be taken moving the appliance when it contains hot liquids.

14. Ensure your hands are fully dried before plugging or unpluging the appliance.
15. Always plug the cord into the wall outlet first before turning the Knob to
the position. To disconnect, turn the Knob to the position first, then remove
the plug from the wall outlet.
16. The Dessert Master serves to produce 1400ml (maximum) of dessert product.
Fill with water to a level between minimum and maximum as indicated on the
inside of the Stainless Steel Container. If the water content is over the maximium
level, the contents will boil over. This is relevant to our standard recipes outlined
in Table 1 on back cover of this instruction manual.
17. Use only cool water in Stainless Steel Container. Do not use ice, warm or hot
water.

Parts and Features
Container Lid
Hold the Mesh Cup Assembly. Two contact points are located on top of the Lid. Keep
these two contact points clean.
Container Lid Handle
Use the Handle to remove the Container Lid with Mesh Cup Assembly.
Sensor
This Sensor is for temperature monitoring. Keep clean and avoid rough hands.
Mesh Cup Assembly
This Assembly is composed of Mesh Cup, Blade and Mesh Cup Holder. It is installed
to the Container Lid before placing it onto the Stainless Steel Container.
Mesh Cup Holder
A dedicated mechanism holds Blade and Mesh Cup (selected menu).
Stainless Steel Container
Hold water from 1200ml (minimum) - 1400ml (maximum). Use cool water only. Fill
with water to the level as indicated inside the Container.
Heating Plate
Place the Stainless Steel Container on the Heating Plate for boiling.
Knob
Turn the Knob to the position. The appliance cannot be operated if the Knob is in
the position. To reset all settings or stop the operation, you may turn the Knob to
the position or press the START/STOP Key for 2 seconds.

Control Panel
Operate the Dessert Master.
Grinding Blade
This Blade is for grinding the ingredients.
Beating Blade
This alternate Blade is for beating the ingredients. (It is used for Black Glutinous Rice
Pudding, and best for Red Bean Pudding to achieve bean texture.)
Basket
To install and detach the Mesh Cup Assembly, place the Mesh Cup into the Basket.
Brush
Use the Brush to clean the Mesh Cup Assembly.
Measuring Cup
To measure the amount of ingredients.

Operation of Control Panel
A.
MENU Key -
8 dessert modes for selection:
Press MENU Key to select the dessert mode and the LED Display will show the
menu number for each press.
1.Soybean Milk
2.Sesame Paste
3.Almond Pudding
4.Almond Paste
5.Black Glutinous Rice Pudding
6.Walnut Paste
7.Peanut Paste
8.Red/Green Bean Pudding
B.
TIMER Key
-
Allows you to preset the delay time to operate from 0.5 hour to
24 hours.
Note: Prolong soaking at high ambient temperature night.
1. Press the TIMER Key to activate the Delay Time setting in 0.5 hour/1 hour
step.
2. Press and hold the TIMER Key for 2 seconds to cancel the Delay Time setting
when the TIMER LED glows.

TIMER LED
The TIMER LED glows when the Delay Time is selected. After pressing the START/
STOP Key, the TIMER LED will flash and the TIMER starts to count down.
Note : Press and hold the START/STOP Key for 2 seconds to cancel the
Delay Time setting when the TIMER LED flashes.

UP and DOWN Keys
Press the UP and DOWN Keys to adjust the Delay Time setting in 0.5 hour
step below 10 hours and 1 hour step till maximum 24 hours.
E.
START/STOP Key
Cooking Now
Press the START/STOP Key to start cooking after Menu is selected.
Cooking Later
Press the START/STOP Key after Menu and Delay Time are selected. The cooking
will start after the time delay lapse.
Note :
1. Press and hold the START/STOP Key for 2 seconds to cancel
the Delay Time setting when the TIMER LED flashes.
2. You may reset all settings by holding START/STOP Key for 2
seconds or rotate the Knob to the position. All setting will be
cancelled and you need to input the setting again.
F.
LED Display
It is a 2-digit LED Display and will have the following indications:
1.
Shows the Delay Time you selected.
2.
Indicates Menu and Timer are ready for selection.
3.
When the cooking is in process, the LED Display shows the
remaining cooking time and selected menu number alternately.
Note : When the selected menu is shown, the first digit
indicates a running and the second digit indicates
the selected menu number.
4.
Indicates the cooking is completed.
Buzzer
Short Beep :
a) A short beep sound will be heard after pressing a key.
b)
2 short beep sounds will be heard after turning the Knob to
the position.
Long Beep :
6 consecutive long beep sounds will be heard when the operation
finishes.
Continuous Beep : A continuous beep sound will be heard when the operation is
abnormal.

III. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Unpacking
1. Remove all packaging materials before use.
2. Turn the Knob to the position and then remove the Stainless Steel Container
from the Heating Plate.
3. Lift the Container Lid, then detach the Container Lid from Mesh Cup Assembly by
rotating it anti-clockwise.
4. Turn the Mesh Cup Holder anti-clockwise to release from the Mesh Cup.
Operating the Dessert Master
1.
Fix the Blade on a flat surface and install
the shaft of Mesh Cap into the slot of
Blade. Make sure the shaft is fully
inserted into the slot of the Blade.
Note: To detach the Blade, fix the
Blade on a flat surface and lift
up the Mesh Cap.
Caution - The blade is extremely
sharp.
2.
For Menu 1 - 4, put the ingredients into
the Mesh Cup and put sugar into the
Stainless Steel Container.

Place the Mesh Cup into the Basket.

Put the Mesh Cup Holder on top of the Mesh
Cup. Turn clockwise to slot it in position.
5.
For Menu 5 - 8, no need to use the Mesh Cup,
put the ingredients and sugar into the
Stainless Steel Container directly.

6.
Pour cold water into the Stainless Steel
C ontainer to a level between 1200ml
(minimum) and 1400ml (maximum) as
marked.
Note: Do not use ice, warm or hot water.
7.
Hold the Mesh Cup Holder and attach to the
Container Lid. Ensure that 3 tabs are locked
into the slots of Container Lid by rotating in
clockwise direction.

8.
Place the Container Lid with Mesh Cup
Holder on the Stainless Steel Container.
9.
Flip the Lid Handle to the direction of the
Container Handle as shown.
10. Put the Stainless Steel Container on the
Heating Plate. Cool touch handle should
be placed facing the LED Display.
11. Insert the plug into an electrical outlet.
Turn the Knob to the position.
2 short
beep sounds will be heard.
The LED Display will flash .
12. Select the menu by using the MENU Key.
Then press the START/STOP Key to start
cooking.

13. Alternatively, to select the menu and preset the
timer before pressing the START/STOP Key.
Cooking will start at the time you selected.
14. After the cooking is completed, 6 consecutive long
beep sounds will be heard. The LED Display will
flash .
15. Turn the Knob to the position. Remove the
Stainless Steel Container from Heating Plate.
(Beware of the hot surfaces of Stainless Steel
Container and Heating Plate)
16. For Menu 1 - 4, lift the Container Lid with Mesh
Cup Assembly and put them in the Basket.
17. For Menu 5 - 8, lift the Container Lid with Mesh
Cup Holder.
18. The dessert inside the Stainless Steel Container
is ready to be served.

IV. CLEANING & CARE
1. Disconnect the plug from the wall outlet.
2. Remove the Stainless Steel Container and set aside. Clean Heating Plate and
Housing with a soft cloth (DO NOT IMMERSE IN WATER).
3. Mesh Cup Assembly (For Menu 1 - 4)
Lift the Container Lid with Mesh Cup Assembly
and put them in the Basket. Hold the Container
Lid Handle and Basket. Turn the Container Lid
Handle anti-clockwise to release the Mesh Cup
Assembly.
Open the Mesh Cup Holder.
Discard the residue.
Under running water, use the Brush to gently wipe
away the residue inside the Mesh Cup.
Wash the Mesh Cup Holder thoroughly.
4. Stainless Steel Container
Wash with a soft sponge and a little detergent.
Do not use an abrasive pad.
5. Container Lid
Wash with a little detergent.
Clean the two contact points and Senor thoroughly.
6. For storage, make sure all the parts are clean and dry enough. Store in a clean
and dry place.
Suggestion : For easy cleaning, suggest to immerse the Mesh Cup Assembly
and Stainless Steel Container in water first.

V. TROUBLE SHOOTING
If the above problems cannot be fixed, please contact the customer service centre for
assistance.

Remarks :
I.
To make the dessert more tasty, we recommend that you follow the following
steps:
a. Fry ingredients like Peanuts and Sesame first. There is no need to use any oil
while frying the ingredients.
b. For Peanuts, we recommend that you peel the skin after frying.
c. For Walnuts, we recommend that you peel the skin after soaking.
d. For Red Bean Pudding, we recommend that you use the Beating Blade to
achieve bean texture.
e. For Black Glutinous Rice Pudding, you are required to use the Beating Blade.
II.
The amount of ingredients outlined above are for reference only.
III. Cooking duration is very dependent on the room temperature of your cooking
environment and the quality of ingredients. The cooking duration outlined above
is for reference only.
