2.0 - INSTALLATION AND CONNECTIONS
WARNINGS:
- Complete a pre-installation check and disconnect the negative terminal of the vehicle’s
battery. .
- Before fixing the device, insert the installation loom connectors into the alarm and
screw the connector cover on.
- Place the alarm system in the engine compartment, away from direct sources of
water spray and high tension wiring.
- Solder and isolate all connections.
-
Connect the
BROWN
wire to the negative terminal of the vehicle’s battery (power supply
negative).
-
Connect the
RED
(general power supply) and
RED/WHITE
wires (indicator relay positive)
to the positive terminal of the vehicle’s battery with a 15A fuse.
-
Connect the
YELLOW
wire to an ignition switched live (+15/54) that remains live even
when the engine is being cranked.
-
ORANGE
wire (INDICATOR Command): if the INDICATOR COMMAND is
DISABLED
connect to the vehicle right indicators (or to the left). If the INDICATOR COMMAND function
is
ENABLED
with this wire is possible to command the indicators (only on the vehicles
equipped with this function - See the INDICATOR COMMAND diagram). For the connection
refer to the technical installation guides.
-
Connect the
ORANGE/BLACK
/wire (FEEDBACK) to the vehicle left (or right) indicator by
a diode(2 Amp) (see the INDICATOR COMMAND diagram).
-
Connect the
GREEN
wire to the switches for the boot and bonnet protection.
-
Connect the
GREEN/BROWN
wire to the original door pin switches. This alarm input is
set by default to manage the negative stable signals. It is possible to manage also the
vehicles original switches with negative impulsive signals(pulsing) enabling the Function
No.6 PULSING management. For the connection refer to the technical installation guides.
It is possible to manage also the positive stable signals enabling the Function No.7
Postive Door pin switch management.
-
Connect the
PINK
wire (Positive output when the alarm is armed - Max capacity 80 mA to
the PINK wire of modules or additional sensors (i.e. ultrasonic module).
-
Connect the
GREEN/BLACK
wire (alarm input by optional additional sensors) to the
GREEN/BLACK wire of the same (i.e. ultrasonic module).
-
Connect the
BROWN
wire
(Sec. 0,35mm²)
to the modules or additional sensors (i.e.
ultrasonic module).
-
The
RED/BROWN, RED/GREY, RED/BLUE, YELLOW/BROWN, YELLOW/GREY and YELLOW/
BLUE
wires are used to command the central door locking referring to the instuctions in
the technical installation guide.
WARNING:
- Always use 5 A fuses on the RED/BLUE and YELLOW/BLUE wires.
- The max. load to command the central door locking is 5 A. For example it is not
possible to drive directly No.4 GT71 actuators (see diagramNo. 5).

3.0 - CONNECTION DIAGRAM
-
The
WHITE
and
GRE
Y wires (Max. capacity 7 mA) are used for the engine immobilisation
either on the diesel or petrol vehicles. Cut the ignition switched wire which supplies the
fuel pump or electrovalve (diesel vehicles). Connect the two wires one to the GREY wire
and the other to the WHITE one.
- Place the
LED/RECEPTACLE
on the dashboard (so that it is easily visible and accessible)
and join together the connector with the connector on the alarm loom.

Install the two ultrasonic sensors on the “A” pillars (see pic below). One either side of the
windscreen pointing towards a hypothetical point at the centre of the rear window and
ensure that between the ultrasonics and the rear window there are no objects (i.e. headrest).
Plug the ultrasonics connectors in the module paying attention to their colours: RED and
WHITE. Do not cut or lengthen the ultrasonics cables. Plug the 4 pin BLACK loom connector
in the module. The module can be placed under the dashboard on the driver’s side.
Sensitivity increases if you turn the adjuster clockwise and decreases if you turn the
screw anticlockwise. NOTE:
This operation is important as
you do not want to have false
alarms. To check that it is not
oversensitive,arm the alarm
and hit the front and rear
windows with your hand (care
should be taken not do
damage the windows).The
system should not generate
any beep and flashes of the
LED on the receptacle.

the alarm following to the user needs.
To access to the SET FUNCTIONS:
1 - The alarm must be disarmed.
2 - Switch the vehicle ignition key on, place the GT888 handsets contacts to the receptacle
and check that 5 quick beeps are emitted and the RED LED will switch on constant. The
alarm is in SET FUNCTIONS mode. Switch the ignition key off.
3 - After 5 seconds starting from the function No.1 a sequence of LED beeps corresponding
to the function are emitted, the LED flashes can be GREEN or RED to indicate the function
state. The sequential cycle of the LED flashes (from the function No.1 to No.7) is repeated

The change is confirmed by the change of the LED colour and by a beep. After 10 seconds,
starting from the last function selected, the function sequence will start again.
To come out from the SET FUNCTIONS:
Wait untill the end of the signals and place the GT888 handsets contacts to the receptacle
(not during the Function No. 1 - HANDSETS SELF-CODING). The end of the sequence is
confirmed by the Led switching off and by 5 beeps. In the “FUNCTIONS TABLE” are the
functions which can be selected.
SET FUNCTIONS emergency disarming procedure.
If the GT888handset-electronic key lost it is possible to enter the SET FUNCTIONS:
A -
With the alarm disarmed disconnect the power supply and wait 3 minutes.
B -
Short-circuit the RECEPTACLE/LED contacts.
C -
Connect the power supply again.
D -
Switch on and off the vehicle ignition key four times and check that 5 quick beeps are
emitted and the LED is constant RED to confirm you have entered the SET FUNCTIONS.

to the disarming) or there is anomaly it is possible to check the cause.
When the alarm is disarmed switch the ignition key on and check the LED flash as
indicated in the ALARMS SIGNAL TABLE and ANOMALIES SIGNALS TABLE.
ANOMALIES SIGNALLING:
- Vehicle low battery signalling:
when disarming with the handset, if the vehicle battery is
