NOTICE BEFORE USE

Important

For safety purpose, you should read the instructions

carefully before using the appliance for the first time.

Save the instructions for future reference.

The appliance is designed for domestic use and may

only be installed and operated in accordance with

these instructions for use.

1. The kettle must only be used with the power

base provided.

2. Always use the kettle on a flat, firm surface.

3. Do not overfill the kettle. Otherwise, boiling

water may be ejected.

4. Do not open the lid while the kettle is boiling.

5. Ensure that the kettle is switched off before

removing it from its power base.

6. Do not open kettle lid or pour water immediately

after boiling. Wait at least 5 seconds after the

kettle switches off for the boiling to subside.

7. Always pour boiled water from the kettle slowly

and carefully.

8. After pouring, return the kettle to its upright

position slowly.

9. Do not use the kettle in a bathroom or outdoors.

10. Do not use the kettle for any purposes other

than water boiling.

11. To prevent interfering its normal operation, do not

press the Power On/Off Switch while holding the kettle.

1. Ensure that the mains voltage marked on the kettle

and Power Base is the same as your power supply.

1. If the power cord is damaged, do not replace

it by yourself. All repairs must be done by

German Pool or licensed technicians in order to

avoid hazards.

2. 必須將熱水壺放置於平穩的表面上使用。

3. 切勿將熱水壺裝至滿溢，以免熱沸水溢出。

4. 於煲水期間切勿掀開壺蓋。

5. 必須先將熱水壺關掉後，才移離電源底座。


6. 煮沸開水後，須待最少5秒讓熱水停止翻滾
後，才掀開壺蓋或斟水飲用，以免沸騰的熱
水從壺嘴噴出。

7. 斟水時動作切勿太快，並請特別小心。


8. 斟水後，將熱水壺垂直並慢慢放好。


9. 切勿在浴室或戶外使用熱水壺。


10. 熱水壺只能煮沸開水，切勿用作其他用途。



11. 提起熱水壺時切勿按著電源開關鍵，以免影
響其正常運作。

12. 確保電源與熱水壺及電源底座上所標示的電
壓相符。

13.如電源線損壞，切勿自行更換，以免發生危
險。一切維修必須由德國寶或合資格專業技
術人員進行。

  - 本電熱水壺為高功率快速加熱產品。
  - 切勿將熱水壺或電源底座浸泡在水中或其
    他液體中。

Kettle features a patented dual-

There are two separate chambers in

the kettle. The Reservoir can hold a

full capacity of water ready for use,

while the valve button allows any

quantity – from a single cupful to full

capacity – to be released from the

Reservoir to the Boiling Chamber for

boiling. The result? Exactly the right

amount of water every time you boil

– and no more wastage of energy.

Hence, it uses an average of 1%

less energy than normal kettles.

儲水水箱

儲存備用清水，建議經常保持注滿。

加熱水箱

加熱水箱中的水位最少要達到“min fill”(最低
水位) 的位置(份量約1杯，200ml)。
加熱水箱中的水位切勿超越“max boil”(最高水
位) 的位置，否則煲水時會有溢出的危險。

電源開關鍵

向下按電源開關鍵以啟動熱水壺。

電源底座

部份電源線收納於電源底座下面。如要延長電源
線，從底座下的電線夾中拉出所需長度便可。

水量調節掣

按此掣控制水從儲水水箱傳送至加熱水箱。

顯示燈

此燈亮起時，表示熱水壺正在加熱，切勿打開
壺蓋。當燈熄滅時，表示熱水壺停止運作。

隔濾網

可拆式設計，用作隔除水垢等。

Reservoir

For water storage. It is recommended to top it up to the
maximum water level at all time.

Boiling Chamber

Water level must always reach the “min fill” mark

(approximately 1 cup = 00ml).

Never fill above the “max boil” mark on the Boiling

Chamber window as water may be spilt during boiling.

Power On/Off Switch

Switch the kettle on by pressing down the Power

On/Off Switch.

Power Base

Part of the cable is stowed in the Power Base. In

order to extend the cable to desired length, simply

release it from the clips beneath the Power Base.

Valve Button

Press this button to control water from Reservoir to

Boiling Chamber.

Indicator Light

It lights up when kettle is heating. It goes out when

heating is finished.

Filter

Detachable filter used for removing limescale from water.

操作說明

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

使用前預備

首次使用熱水壺前，加水至最高水位並煮沸一
次，然後將熱水倒出，以徹底清洗熱水壺。

操作方法

1. 確定水量調節掣在升起位置。壺蓋開關向後
按以打開壺蓋。(圖1)

2.  為「儲水水箱」注水至“MAX”(最高水位) 的
    位置，然後壓下壺蓋，以確保壺蓋開關已鎖
    上。(圖2)

3. 將熱水壺放在電源底座上，接駁並開啟電源。

4. 調校需要煮沸的份量 (選用省電或全煲模式)：

A.省電模式 —

僅煮沸所需份量

(200毫升至1公升 / 1至5杯水)

      留意前方的「加熱水箱」，同時向下按壓水
      量調節掣數秒，將需要煮沸的份量從儲水
      水箱傳送至加熱水箱，直至加熱水箱中
      的水位上升至你所需要的份量(圖4) — 水
      位必須介乎加熱水箱上“min fill”(圖5)
      及“max boil”(圖6) 兩個標記之間。

注意：調校需要煮沸的份量後，保持水量
調節掣在升起位置 (圖7)，切勿往下扭緊。

Preparation

Before using the kettle for the first time, boil a full

volume of water and discard it to ensure that the

interior of the kettle is completely clean.

Operation

1. Check that Valve Button is in raised position. Pull the Lid

Latch backward, and then open the hinged lid. (Fig.1)

. Fill Reservoir with water to the “MAX” level.

Close the lid using a downward pressure to

ensure that the Lid Latch engages fully. (Fig.)

. Place the kettle on its Power Base. Plug in the Power

Cord to a power socket and switch on the power. (Fig.)

4. Adjust the amount for boiling (select either Eco

Mode or Full Tank Mode):

Eco Mode

–

Boil only the amount of water you need

(00 ml – 1 L / 1 – 5 cups)

Press Valve Button downwards and release

when water level in Boiling Chamber rises to your

desired amount (Fig.4). While doing so, watch the

exterior of Boiling Chamber to make sure water

level reaches its “min fill” mark (Fig.5), and do not

fill above the “max boil” mark (Fig.6).

Notice: After adjusting, keep Valve Button at

raised position (Fig.7). Do not keep it locked at

downward position.

B. 全煲模式

—

用作煮沸煲內所有水 (最多1.5公升)

向下按水量調節掣，並同時循箭嘴順時針

方向扭緊直至鎖上 (圖8及圖9)。這樣可打

通儲水水箱與加熱水箱 (圖10)，使兩個水

箱的水同時煮沸 (圖11)。

注意：使用全煲模式時要鎖上水量調節

掣，但煮沸開水後要將水量調節掣逆時針

方向扭鬆以解鎖，使之回復至升起位置。

5. 向下按電源開關鍵啟動熱水壺。

6. 當開水煮沸後，熱水壺會自動關掉。

補充清水

•儲水水箱內剩餘的水可留待稍後再煮沸飲

用，以節約食水。為確保水質不變差，建議

每天早上注入新鮮清水才煮沸。

•為了讓熱水壺隨時備用，可保持儲水水箱中

的注水在最高水位 (儲水水箱內之最高水位

顯示棒“MAX”位置)。

•選用全煲模式時，如要打開壺蓋於儲水水箱

內加水，要特別注意加熱水箱的水位必須低

於“max boil”的位置。

暫停煲水

將電源開關鍵向上拉至關的位置。

重新加熱

只需重按電源開關鍵，重開前或需等待數秒鐘。

安全裝置

• 如意外地在加熱水箱無水時啟動了熱水壺，
防乾水安全裝置將會自動啟動，以保護熱水壺。

• 要恢復運作，可將水從儲水水箱注入加熱水
箱，以冷卻發熱器，稍待一會，熱水壺便可
重新操作。

B. Full Tank Mode –

Boil all water in the kettle (Maximum: 1.5 L)

Lock Valve Button by rotating it clockwise in the

direction of the arrow when the button is depressed

(Fig.8 & Fig.9). In this way, water in both Reservoir

and Boiling Chamber are boiled (Fig.10 & Fig.11).

Notice: Valve Button must be locked when using Full

Tank Mode. But after water is boiled, unlock Valve

Button to raised position by turning anti-clockwise.

5. Switch on kettle by pressing down Power On/Off Switch.
6. When the water is boiled, the kettle will switch

off automatically.

Refill Water

•

Unused water remaining in Reservoir can be

used next time for saving water. To ensure water

quality, refill with fresh water starting each day.

•

Top up Reservoir to the “MAX” Water Level

Indicator from time to time as necessary, so that

the kettle is always ready to boil the exact

amount of water you require.

•

Beware that water level must not rise above the

“max boil” marking on Boiling Chamber when

adding water into Reservoir, especially during

Full Tank Mode.

Pause

Stop the boiling process at anytime by setting

Power On/Off Switch to “Off”.

Resume Water Boiling

Press down Power On/Off Switch (wait a few

seconds before the switch can be reset).

Boil-Dry Protection

•

If the kettle is inadvertently operated when

Boiling Chamber is empty, Boil-Dry Protection will

be activated automatically.

•

Kettle operation can be re-set as follows: release

water from the reservoir into Boiling Chamber

to cool down the heating element. Wait for a

short while for the control to cool sufficiently and

the kettle will then be ready for use again.

清潔與保養

CARE & MAINTENANCE

•熱水壺壺嘴內備有可拆式水垢隔濾網，以去
除水垢等。如隔濾網被水垢堵塞，需取出隔
濾網，並用清水沖洗。

•為有效保養熱水壺，可定期清洗熱水壺內部
以去除水垢。可選擇購買膠製熱水壺專用之
清潔劑，並必須按清潔劑生產商的指示使用。

•用半濕軟身布清潔熱水壺外部。

•切勿將熱水壺或電源底座浸泡在水中。

•

The kettle is provided with a detachable filter in

the spout to remove limescale, etc. If it becomes

clogged, remove and clean under running water.

•

To maintain optimum performance, clean the

interior of the kettle from time to time to remove

limescale deposits. This can be achieved by using

a cleaner made especially for plastic bodied kettles

and following the manufacturer’s instructions.

•

The exterior of the kettle should be kept clean

using a damp, soft cloth.

•

Never immerse the kettle or its power base in water.

1. Customer who fails to present original purchase invoice

will be disqualified for free warranty.

instructions. This warranty does not apply to:

- replacement of filter;

- labour costs for installation, on-site check-up, part

replacement and other transportation costs;
