•      The cot you have purchased is produced from carefully selected natural

timbers. You may notice some variation in the grain and colour of

different component parts, which is normal for furniture produced using

natural wood. Even within the same tree, the colour of the timber will

vary depending on the age of the growth. Colour variation is a natural

        characteristic of most timber products.

•      This cot is suitable for use by infants from birth.

•      The mattress size required to fit this cot is L1000 x W500 x H100mm.

•      For details on how to maintain your furniture please see our ‘How to....

 look after your furniture’ section.

•      We suggest you spend some time reading this manual before following

        the simple step-by-step assembly instructions.

•      Check you have all of the components and tools listed in this manual

        before you start.

•      Make sure you have enough space to lay out the parts before starting.

•      Do not discard any of the packaging until you have checked that you

have all parts and fittings listed. When discarding packaging take care

and consideration for others and the environment.

•      Assembly to be conducted by a responsible adult.

•      When assembling your cot be aware of the safety of yourself and others.

•      Some of the assembly will be easier with two people. Seek assistance

when lifting large or heavy items.

•      Assemble your cot in the room intended for use and as close to its final

        position as possible.

•      Keep any tools provided or spare fittings for future use. Only use the

        tools specified.

WARNINGS:

•      This cot is only intended to be used by one child at a time.

•      To prevent injury from falls do not use the cot once the child is able to

        climb out.

•      The bottom position of the cot base is the safest. You should use the cot

in this position as soon as your baby is able to sit up.

•      When adjusting the position of the cot base please ensure that all excess

parts or fittings are removed from inside the cot.

•      Do not use your cot if any part is broken, torn or missing. Please contact

        Customer Services.

•      All assembly fittings should be tightened properly and checked regularly

to ensure that no screws are loose and re-tightened as required. Loose

screws or fittings could trap parts of the body, or clothing (e.g. ribbons,

drawstrings, necklaces ) this could pose a risk of strangulation.

•      Do not place or leave anything in the cot, attach anything to the cot, or

place it close to another product which could provide a foothold, present

a danger of suffocation or strangulation (e.g. ribbons, strings, blind cords

        etc.).

•      Children are likely to play, bounce and climb on cots, therefore the cot

should not be placed too close to blinds, curtain pulls, or other strings or

cords as this could pose a risk of strangulation.

•      The cot should be positioned tight against a wall, or have a gap of at least

300mm between the wall and the side of the cot.

•      Do not place your cot near heat sources, windows, other furniture or

        electrical sockets.

•      Do not place your cot in the close proximity of an open fire and other

sources of heat, such as radiators, electric or gas fires.

•      Keep plastic bags away from children or animals.

•      Keep fittings and small parts out of reach of children and animals.

•      Do not place components directly onto hard floors or other abrasive

surfaces where they may become damaged.

•      Do not use power tools such as drills and power drivers, as this may

damage the frame or fittings. Only use hand screwdrivers.

•       Do not modify or alter the cot in any way.

•       Do not allow children to climb up the side of the cot.

•       Please ensure that any visitors that use the furniture are aware of its

        correct use and operation.

•       Lift the cot when moving along the floor, do not drag as this can cause

        damage.

ensure you follow these assembly instructions in reverse order and keep all

       parts and fittings together.

       Mattress

•     The mattress size required to fit this cot is L1000 x W500 x H100mm.

•     The maximum allowable mattress height for this cot is 100mm.

Only use the mattress size stated and do not use more than one mattress.

•     The gaps between the sides and ends of the mattress and the cot should

not exceed 30mm in any position. This is to reduce the risk of children’s

limbs becoming caught in the gap.

•     The thickness of the mattress chosen should be such that the internal

height (distance between the top of the mattress and the top of the cot

frame) is at least 500mm in the lowest position of the cot base and at

How to…

…use your furniture

How to…

…look after your furniture

• Only use on a firm ground which is on a horizontal level and dry.

This furniture is designed for private and domestic use only e.g. around

the home. This furniture is designed for private and domestic use e.g.

around the home. This furniture is not designed or intended for

commercial use e.g. pubs, restaurants, hotels etc.

This product is not intended for outdoor use.

We recommend you use a mattress size 100cm x 50cm. There should

never be a gap of more than 3cm between the mattress and sides and

ends of the cot.

To prevent injury, the cot should not be used as soon as the child is able

to climb out of the cot unaided.

• Spillages should be mopped up immediately and the item should not be

used until completely dry.

Only clean using a damp cloth and mild detergent, do not use bleach or

abrasive cleaners.

Occasionally please check that there are no loose screws on your furniture.

This product should not be discarded with household waste.  Take to your

local authority waste disposal centre.

Dust your wooden furniture, at least on a weekly basis. Use a soft, lint

free cloth dampened with water, alternatively use a microfibre cloth,

which clings to dust particles.

Do not use silicone based spray polish as the silicone can soak into the

grain of the wood causing permanent damage.

Do not place your wooden furniture next to any sources of heat. The

temperature changes can damage the wood.

Trouble shooting

Bolts are missing.

Some of our furniture has more than one fitting pack included in the

box, so please make sure the box is thoroughly checked.

Top Tip:

Before assembling your furniture put all of your fittings into a tupperware box

and sort them into the correct sizes and types.

This makes assembly quicker and easier and helps to avoid losing parts.

You can also store these instructions, the tools supplied and any spares in

the box for future use.

Parts do not line up or holes are in the wrong place.

Make sure you have fitted parts the correct way round. Where possible we

have labelled parts to make this obvious, but in some cases it is still possible to

fit parts incorrectly and therefore the product will not go together.

Bolts won’t fit?

All our flat pack furniture is designed and manufactured with specific

tolerances. Sometimes this requires that parts are fitted in a specific sequence,

so always follow the assembly instructions. Do not tighten any fixings until all

are in place. Tightening bolts prior to assembling all parts can make it too tight

to fit other parts. Loosen all fittings and try to fit bolts again.
