TROUBLESHOOTING

Fault Codes

The main control unit (MCU) is designed with a set of pre-programmed fault
codes to aid in troubleshooting. If fault codes appear on the screen, please take
note of what is displayed. Follow the next steps:

1.

Turn the MCU “OFF” by using the switch on the back of the MCU
housing. Wait 30 seconds, then turn the MCU “ON”.

2.

Turn the bed on to HIGH HEAT for 10 minutes.

3.

If no error code is present, the issue is resolved. If the same or new error
code appears, ensure that all connections are made and repeat steps 1 and 2.

4.

If the error code(s) remain, please contact customer service. You can
always access the latest technical information at www.gentherm.com/ccss.
