Caution for installation
1. Use in the places where ambient temperature range is -10
- + 50
and humidity is
85% or less. Also, avoid the place where reaches direct ray of light, and should install
COVER etc. when use above places.
2. Avoid the places where there are a lot of dusts, vibraci ns, and ocorring flammable
GASes, corrosive GASes.
Caution for Wiring
1. Use SOCKET for connection and do not solder directly to PIN of main body.
2. Confirm well termiknal numbers in case of SOCKET connection.
Also, when insert CONTROL PACK to SOCKET, turn OFF power and insert after confirm
PIN number.
3. Large output MOTOR, solenoids, high-frequency power, electric welding, etc. may cause
malfunction of CONTROL PACK. Wire separating from CABLE of the main circuit of above
devices by power of separate circuit.
In NOISE Section, prevent malfunction referring Clause 5(unit wiring diagram).
4. Wire in the shortest distance installing MOTOR and CONTROL PACK
as near as possible

Safety Instructions
1. Avoid use
near explosive atmosphere, atmosphere of flammable gases, corrosive
atmosphere, the place possible to touch water, and combustible materials.
2. Do not work of moving from the current carrying state, connection, checking. Please
work after turn off power.
3. Connect based on the wiring diagram and make to be sure
4. In case of mount motor, control device on unit, make not to be reached by hand or
make ground.
5. Do not operate in the exposed state of the parts that is carrying current.
6. Turn off power in case of power outage and thermal protector is operated.
There are injury and danger of device when reset suddenly.
7. Avoid to touch output terminals of the control device for 30 seconds after turn off
power. There is danger of electric shock by residual current-voltage.
8. Do not use exceeding specification of motor, control device.
9. Do not put fingers or objects to closed-region of motors, control devices.
10. Do not operate with wet hands. There is a risk of electric shock.
11. Do not hold the output shaft of the motor, running region,the lead when carry.
12. Please check the actual product is same as goods ordered.
13. Use after immobilization of the motor certainly.
14. Install cover etc. to avoid contact with rotating parts.
15. Check the direction of rotation before join with machine.
16. Avoid getting on or hang down on control device, motor.
17. Do not touch Motor output shaft (spline, toothed wheel region) with the bare hands.
18. Protection device is not supplied with the motor. Install overload protection device.
It is also recommended to install the protectional device (circuit blocks, etc.) except
overload protective device. .
19. When removing the plug, do not pull out holding the plug.
There is danger of electric shock, fire.
20. Motors and control devices should be used in a given combination. There is a risk of
fire.
21. Set PARAMETER that was set to the machine before start operation after join with
Machine..
22. In case of start operation after joining with machine, set the state to stop in emergency
at any time..
23. Turn off power immediately in case of occurring abnormal state.
There are shock, injury and fire risk.
24. Do not touch to Rotors (output shaft) during operation. There is risk of injury danger by
enwinding.
25. Do not touch the hands and body on operation or after operation of the motor, control
system.
26. Do not use in area where there is a large amount of static electricity. May cause
personal injury according to a malfunction.

It is used for INDUCTION SPEED CONTROL MOTOR of 6W-180W and RE VERSIBLE SPEED
CONTROL MOTOR of 6W- 90W and SPEED CONTROL & BRAKE MOTOR of 6W- 180W.
Can control and set rotational speed of MOTOR by external speed setter. Instantaneous
stop function is possible by electrical BRAKE. It is COMPACT PLUG-IN (11PIN) TYPE that is
easy to handle and install. There are SLOW RUN, SLOW STOP function that moving and
dead lock are not attained rapidly and operates slowly. There is built-in time setting function
that is easy to control. Parallel operation is possible.(Parallel operation can operate
establishing plural MOTOR CONTROL PACKs at the same time with same speed by ONE
external speed setter.)
Applied MOTOR is our company SOCKET TYPE SPEED CONTROL MOTOR.

As like the following wiring diagrams, high power GSA TYPE is multiplepossible Parallel
operation that can set speed control setting MOTORs at the same time same speed by one
variable resistor for speed setter.
As like the above diagrams, wire Power Supply(Terminal number

Even in case combination of other MOTOR and CONTROL PACK, can do parallel operation
equalizing Power Suppl and Controls.
CAUTION
1.For Power supply and control unit, lay wiring as same PIN number respectively.
2. The capacity of the speed control variable resistor can obtain as following.
VRx=20/N K , N/4 W (N : quantity of MOTORs)
ex.)in case MOTOR is 2 units it is 10K

3. Each MOTOR rates almost the same speed, but will cause some errors by difference of
load and variation of the product.
To prevent such a phenomenon, prepare variable resistor for fine control (SVR)to terminal
number
about 5-10% resistivity of variable resistor (VRx) for speed setting, Capacity 1/4W.

Pressure of AC SPEED CONTROL MOTOR is increased depending on the amount of the load
that MOTOR temperature rises more according to load..
It is called Use Limit Curve that MOTOR temperature rise limit TORQUE and rpm were
obtained from it, and use MOTOR in TORQUE rpm of under the curve.
In following occasion, can use more TORQUEs moving Useful Limit Curve to the Top.
- Occasion that thermally effect is good
- In case of cooling by FAN
- Occasion that ambient temperature is low

In case of set MOTOR speed by external DC power supply instead of an external variable
resistor for speed setting that is attached to the product, connect DC power supply and
CONTROL PACK as follows.
(However, use isolated line certainly for the DC power output and the AC input, and take
care not to chage polarity.)

It takes time until to start motor rotation after put RUN/STOP switch to RUN according to
become slow speed of set in motor. In case of low setting run time is an issue, connect
variable resistor VRT to adjust operation time refferring folllowing circuit.

There arefunctions SLOW RUN that is accelerated gradually up to the speed of set and
SLOW STOP that is decelerated up to the speed of set in GSA TYPE.
Use these functions when want smooth acceleration and deceleration by relieve the shock at
Start and Stop.
Time setting of SLOW RUN and SLOW STOP is available in range of SLOW RUN about 35 5
seconds, SLOW STOP : about 35 5 seconds / 1700rpm(60Hz), 1400rpm (50Hz) by variable
resistor inside CONTROL PACK.
* It is impossible to stop SLOW STOP shorter time than natural stop of MOTOR.
* In case of need not SLOW operating, turn internal VOLUME to left (counterclockwise) up to
end.

There is electric brake function in CONTROL PACK that can make stop moment MOTOR
during operation in a short time of 0.1 seconds.
Braking current works about 0.5 seconds and thereafter will automatically turn off.
There is no retention power catching MOTOR that is possible to adjust desired location only
after stop. In case of need retention power to stop object moving up and down,
select our CONTROL MOTOR mounted electronic brake.
CAUTION
1. In CONTROL PACK, takes about 0.5 seconds to run MOTOR after turning switch for
braking after operating Moment Stop.
2. In CONTROL PACK, if set Speed control variable resistor by 0
or stop moment in state
of put switch to RUN/STOP and then put it to RUN, Motor may run about one rotation that
avoid such operations.
In addition, if repeat RUN/STOP switch in AC power within 0.5 seconds, MOTOR may run
moment rotaion that avoid RUN/STOP in AC Power Terminal..
3. Required stop time is more than 3 seconds in order for stabilized restart after Moment
Stop.
