1. Allgemeine Beschreibung
Für die Multifunktionsleuchten der Baureihe AX04 gibt es eine Vielzahl von Anwendungen im
Automobilrennsport, im Motorboot- oder Segelsport und in verschiedenen industriellen
Bereichen. Sie werden zur Streckensicherung, als Boxen- oder Startampel, als Signallampe /
Flashlight in Safety-Cars, als Positionsleuchte, als Prozeßampel oder in Rennfahrzeugen als
Bremslicht, Nebel- oder Regenleuchte verwendet.
Die AX04-Leuchten zeichnen sich insbesondere durch sehr hohe Leuchtstärke bei geringem
Stromverbrauch, kompakte Baumaße und geringes Gewicht aus. Verschiedene Montage-
varianten, Lichtfarben und Farbkombinationen geben jeder Anwendung die passende Lösung.
Zusätzliche Signaleffekte bieten die integrierte Blinkfunktion und die Einzelsegmentan-
steuerung z.B. über das externe Steuergerät CU11.
Die Variante mit durchgehend roten LEDs besitzt eine FIA-Homologation für den Automobil-
rennsport als Regenleuchte. Eine entsprechende Version wurde u.a. in den Formel-3-Fahr-
zeugen der Marke Lola verwendet.
2. Montageskizzen + Anschlüsse
Für die AX04-Leuchten gibt es zwei Montagevarianten:
Rückseitenmontage mit M4-Stehbolzen (Option -R):
Seitenmontage mit M4-Schrauben (Option -S):

1. General Description
For the multi-function lamps of the AX04 series there are several applications in automobile
racing, boot sport and sailing and in industrial environments. The lamps are used as track safety
devices, as pit lane and pit exit signal, as flash light for safety cars, position and signal lamp for
boats and industrial machines or as brake, fog or rain lamp in race cars.
The AX04 lamps excel in high brightness at low power consumption, small over-all dimensions
and low weight. Different mounting variants, light colours and colour combinations provide
suitable solutions for nearly every thinkable application. Additional signal effects can be
generated by the internal blink function or with single segment control e.g. by the mating
external control unit CU11.
The type with complete red LEDs has an FIA homologation for race car rain light applications. A
variant of that has been used e.g. in Lola Formula 3 cars.

There are two different mounting alternatives:
Rear side mounting with M4 studs (option -R):
