OVERVIEW 

Introduction 

Thank you for buying this KS108, one of the XOX versatile sound cards. You now have a 

simple and compact solution for high-quality music enjoyment, recording, online chatting 

and even the karaoke system. 

The XOX KS108 sound card provides up to 16 types of digital reverb FX with the built-in 

DSP chip.  All the  function and FXs can be realized  on the  operation of the body  of the 

device.  It  also  provides  a  plug  and  play  interface  to  connect  iOS/Android  systems  of 

smart phone and tablet. This singing device applies to all the popular systems, including 

Windows, LINUX, and MAC OS.   

For  more  convenience,  all  the  functions  can  be  realized  through  the  accompanying 

control  panel.  Please  first  download  the  control  panel  from  our  website: 

download.xoxchina.com 

before using our product. 

But  now  the  control  panel  only  applies  to  Windows  system,  we  plan to release a 

new version of the control panel in the near future, so please get the latest news from 

our  website:

.  Besides  we  will  keep  updating  the  electronic 

version of this user guide base on user feedback, which can be downloaded from our 

website too.

1.  Interface :  XOX  KS108  sound  card  provides  a  mobile/tablet  interface  to  connect 

iOS/Android systems of smart phone and tablet.

Hardware Operating Instruction 

Part I 

XOX KS108 Sound Card has totally four functions: music listening, chatting, singing 

and MC function.   

Music  listening  mode:  the  microphone  automatically  goes  mute.  Comfortably  enjoy 

music or movie in a stereo sound environment.   

Chatting mode: hear and be heard crystal clear when make the group talking online.   

Singing  mode:  Singing directly to  your friend  online  with sixteen types  of real time 

hardware reverb FX for your choice.   

MC  mode:  your  voice  comes  out  with  reverberation  and  the  volume  of  background 

music automatically goes down so it won’t cover your voice. All the settings only can 

be adjusted from software, not from the hardware.

  button to turn on/off the Stereo Mix function. 

Mode:

 means choosing the present working function, which is distinguished by different 

color light on the logo

Short press the button to choose the right mode you need.   

White light(WH) -- Music Listening Mode 

Green light(GN) --Chatting Mode 

Blue light(BU) -- Singing Mode 

Red light(RD) -- MC Mode. 

Stereo Mix: 

long press the button.   

With the blue light on, the signals from both the microphone and the computer or phone 

will be recorded.   

With the blue light off, only the signals from microphone will be recorded.

Part II 

XOX KS108 Sound Card has 2-band equalizer (EQ): the bass and the treble. 

By rotating these two knobs

, you can make the voice at the most suitable frequency 

for your voice.

  Mic Bass

: adjust knob clockwise to a lower sound.

  Mic Tre

: adjust knob clockwise to a higher pitch.

Mic Vol

: adjust knob clockwise to make voice be heard and be recorded louder. 

Suggestion: adjust “Mic Vol” between 12–3  o’clock; “Mic  Tre” between 11-13 o’clock; 

“Mic Bass” between 9-12 o’clock.

Part III

XOX KS108 sound card provides Monitoring function. Your voice can be monitored 

and adjusted in time.

  Rec Vol: adjust knob clockwise to make your recorded voice louder.

  Music Vol: adjust knob clockwise to make the background music louder.

  Master Vol: adjust clockwise to make the volume of both background music and 

the sound from microphone louder. 

Software Instructions 

XOX KS108 sound card’s accompanying control panel applies to Windows (XP, Vista, 

7, 8). For more convenience in using our product, please download the control panel 

from our website download.xoxchina.com

All the hardware functions can be adjusted from the following control panel. 

Notice:   

1.

Stereo Mix: 

only with the Stereo Mix function on can both the background music   

and microphone sound can be recorded together. 

2.

The four 

modes: 

they are the same as the four modes in hardware setting. For   

detailed information about these four modes, please refer to Part I. 

3.

Master mute:

 to mute both the background music and the sound of microphone 

4.

FX Vol:

 to adjust the effect volume

Mic  voltage  limited  Gr: 

control  voice  cracking.  The  larger  the  number  is,  the

louder you can sing without any worry in voice cracking.

Dodge Threshold:

 dodge means the background music automatically goes down 

so it won’t cover your voice when you’re speaking. This option helps the device 

to activate the dodge function. The larger the number is, the louder can the sound 

activate the dodge effect.

Dodge Speed:

 the speed of the background music dodge

Dodge  Gr:

  dodge  grade.  The  volume  of  the  background  music  after  the  dodge 

effect was activated. 

Important Safety Instructions 

1.

Clean the device only with dry cloth. 

2.

Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other 

apparatus that produce heat. 

3.

No naked flames, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the apparatus. 

WARNING

: Excessive sound pressure levels from earphones and headphones can cause 

hearing loss.

: The input voltage of the power supply should be 5V.
