• High pressure spray can cause particles to become

airborne and fly at high speeds.

• Inspect hose each time before using it. Water

spraying from a leak is capable of injecting material

into skin. Check all hoses for cuts, leaks, abrasions

or bulging of cover, or damage or movement of

couplings. If any of these conditions exist, replace

hose immediately.

Never

repair high pressure hose.

manual.

Extension Cords

We

Do Not

recommend the use of extension cords

with this device. If it is necessary to use one, however,

then you

must

use only extension cords that are

approved for outside use. These extension cords are

identified by a marking “ACCEPTABLE FOR USE

WITH OUTDOOR APPLIANCES”. Also observe the

following specifications:

Cable Length:

Wire Gauge:

Up to 25 feet (8m)

14 AWG

50 feet (15m)

12 AWG

Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter

Protection

To provide protection from the risk of electrical shock,

this electric pressure washer is equipped with a

ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI). Read the

instructions on the plug for use or see “Before Starting

Pressure Washer” on page 8. The GFCI device will

disconnect both power conductors to the load circuit in

the event of an interruption in either or both supply

circuit power conductors. If power is interrupted in the

line, the GFCI provides protection even if neutral is

also grounded at the load.

IMPORTANT:

The GFCI device will not automatically

reconnect the circuit to the load after power is

restored. After correcting any shorting problem, you

must manually press the reset button to restore power

to the pressure washer.

Servicing of a Double–Insulated

Appliance

In a double-insulated product, two systems of

insulation are provided instead of grounding. No

grounding means is provided on a double-insulated

product, nor should a means for grounding be added

to the product.
Servicing a double-insulated product requires extreme

care and knowledge of the system, and should be

done only by qualified service personnel. Replacement

parts for a double-insulated product must be identical

to the parts they replace. A double-insulated product is

marked with the words “Double Insulation” or “Double

Insulated”. This symbol “ “ is marked on the product.

PRESSURE WASHER

If you have any problems operating your pressure

washer, please call the pressure washer helpline at

1-800-270-1408.

Applying Detergent With Foamer

Pressure washers are useful cleaning tools designed

to clean almost any surface in two easy steps.

IMPORTANT:

Use soaps designed specifically for

pressure washers. Household detergents could

damage the pump.

NOTE: Never

use garden hose inlet to siphon

detergent or wax.

DANGER!

You must attach all hoses and the

spray gun before you start the motor.

WARNING!

Before removing any spray gun

accessory, be sure to turn off the pressure

washer and relieve pressure by pressing the

trigger. You could be injured if you try to

remove an accessory if the pressure washer is

running and there is pressure in the system.

• First, apply an appropriate detergent/solvent solution

to penetrate and loosen grime.

Apply detergent at

low pressure to avoid splashing, overspraying

and waste.

Leave the solution on surface for 3 to

5 minutes to allow solution to work. Reapply as

necessary to keep surface from drying.

• The second step involves cleaning the surface you

have prepared with the pressure washer and then

rinsing it clean.

To apply detergent follow these steps:

• Detach the turbo nozzle/wand from the spray gun.
• Remove the bottle from the foamer.
• Align the locking tabs on the foamer with the

grooves in the spray gun. Push inward and twist

clockwise to lock in place (Figure 6).

NOTE:

Make sure that when you lock the foamer into

place, have the hose that goes to the foamer bottle

hanging downward.
• Prepare your detergent solution as required by the

manufacturer and fill bottle with the solution.

• Attach bottle onto foamer making sure the bottle

hangs down.

• Start washer and apply detergent to a dry surface,

starting from the bottom and working up.

• To rinse,

YOU MUST

stop the pressure washer,

remove the foamer and connect the turbo nozzle/

wand.

NOTE:

Detergents are most effective applied to a dry

surface.

How to Use the Turbo Nozzle

The turbo nozzle rotates the high pressure stream in a

rapid circular pattern. The high pressure spray is most

effective when the tip of the wand is held between 8 to

24 inches from the surface being cleaned.
Always start the turbo nozzle at a distance, gradually

getting closer to the surface until you get the cleaning

force you want.

CAUTION!

The turbo nozzle produces an

extremely high pressure spray which is capable

of removing paint and cutting holes through

surfaces if held too close. Always make sure

the surface you will clean will not be damaged

by the high pressure spray by testing in a

hidden area.

NOTE:

You cannot apply detergent with the turbo

nozzle.

How to Use the Utility Brush

The utility brush allows you to scrub surfaces with

water filtering through the bristles.

To attach the utility brush to the spray gun:

• Tighten the bayonet adapter to the brush base.
• Remove the turbo nozzle/wand from the spray gun if

attached.

• Attach the brush with the bayonet adapter to the

spray gun by aligning the locking tabs on the adapter

with the grooves in the spray gun. Push the brush

inward and twist clockwise to lock in place (Figure 7).

NOTE:

You must use the bayonet adapter to attach

the brush to the spray gun.

GENERAL MAINTENANCE

RECOMMENDATIONS

The warranty of the high pressure washer does not

cover items that have been subjected to operator

abuse or negligence. To receive full value from the

warranty, operator must maintain high pressure

washer as instructed in this manual.

BEFORE EACH USE

Check and Clean Quick-Connect

Screen

Remove quick-connect and examine inlet screen on

the female connector. Clean if it is clogged or replace

if it is damaged in any way.

Check High Pressure Hose

High pressure hose can develop leaks from wear,

kinking, abuse. Inspect hose each time before using it.

Check for cuts, leaks, abrasions or bulging of cover, or

damage or movement of couplings. If any of these

conditions exist, replace hose immediately.

DANGER!

Water spraying from a leak is

capable of injecting material into skin.

Never

repair a high pressure hose. Replace a bad

hose with a hose that exceeds the maximum

pressure rating of your pressure washer.

Check Spray Gun and Wand

Examine hose connection to spray gun and make sure

it is secure. Test trigger by pressing it and making

sure it springs back into place when you release it. Put

safety latch in ON position and test trigger. You should

not be able to press trigger.

Check GFCI

• Press the unit’s master ON/OFF switch to the OFF

position.

• Plug unit into an electrical circuit rated for 120 Volts

AC at 15 Amps.

• Press the “

Reset

” button on the plug’s GFCI.

• Press the “

Test

” button. The red indicator on the

reset button should appear.

• Press “

Reset

” button again for use.

IMPORTANT: Do Not

use your electric pressure

washer if above test fails.

O-Ring Maintenance

Your pressure washer uses o-rings to keep hose and

spray gun connections tight and leak-free. Through the

normal operation of your unit, these o-rings may

become worn or damaged.
Provided with your pressure washer is an O–Ring

Maintenance Kit which includes replacement o-rings,

rubber washer and water inlet filter. Refer to the

instruction sheet provided in the kit to service your

unit’s o-rings. Note that not all of the parts in the kit

will be used on your unit.

Parts in the O–Ring Kit include:

• O–Ring (Light Blue), p/n B2688, for the male

accessory connections of the power foamer and

utility brush (Figure 11).

• O–Ring (Light Green), p/n B2264, for the turbo

nozzle (Figure 12).

• O–Ring (Red), p/n B2726, for the bayonet adapter

(Figure 13).

• Rubber Washer, p/n B2385, for the inside of the

garden hose connector (Figure 14).

• Water Inlet Screen (p/n B2384) for the garden hose

connector (Figure 15).

• O–Ring (Yellow), p/n B2264, for the ends of the high

pressure hose (Figure 16).

To remove a worn or damaged O–Ring:

• Use a small flathead screwdriver to get underneath

the o-ring and pry it off.

STORAGE

Water should not remain in the unit for long periods of

time. Sediments of minerals can deposit on pump

parts and “freeze” pump action. After each time you

are finished using your pressure washer, follow this

procedure:
• Switch the Master ON/OFF switch to OFF, unplug it,

then remove all the hoses.

• Coil the high pressure hose and inspect it for

damage. Cuts in the hose or fraying of it could result

in leaks and loss of pressure. Should any damage

be found, replace the hose.

Do Not

attempt to repair

a damaged hose.

• Wipe off and coil your GFCI power cord.
• Drain water from hose and properly store it to

prevent cuts and general wear.

• Store the pressure washer and its components in an

area which will be above freezing temperatures.

Store in a clean, dry, frost-free room.
