Introduction

This door station is equipped with a high resolution colour CCD camera sensor with wide
angle  of view  105 degrees.  White  LEDs enable the  door  station  to work ef ciently 
at night. The  door station facia  is  made  of  medical  stainless  steel  2.5 mm for  better 
protection  against  vandalism  and  cauterization.  The  call  button  is  made of durable 
zinc  alloy  with  white  back  light  for  illumination. The name label with orange back light
is covered by a fully secured and  ameproof glass plate

Lock Control Jumper :

 

To program electric lock type

Door Station Code DIP :

 

To program address for up to 4 x door stations

T/R+,T/R- : USB-RS485 communication terminal

Main Connect Port :

 To connect the bus line and  electric locks (up to 2)

BUS :

 Connect to the bus line, no-polarity

PL :

 Additional power supply for the lock, connect to the power positive(power +)

S1+ : The first lock power (+) output
S2+ : The second lock power(+) output
S - :    Lock power(-) output

Adjusting Camera Angle

Use  a  screwdriver  to  loosen  the 
screw.  Adjust  the  angle  of  the 
camera and tighten the screw

Steps:

 1. Cut out an appropriate size hole, and mount the wall box 
 2. Adjust the camera angle if needed. Connect the cables. Place name label if required
 3. Place the front panel into the mounting box
 4. Use the special spanner provided and move it 90

 to lock the front panel

Programming by DIP-switches as shown on the 
diagram, enables ‘Intercom by namelist’- intercom 
between two specific rooms at a time. ‘Alternatively, 
program as ‘Master/Slaves’ for ‘Inner Call’ intercom- 
all monitors involved in the intercom calls until one 
answers

Electric Lock Connection

Connect one Lock

Connect two Locks

Up to 2 Electric or Magnetic locks can be connected and open independently. 
NOTE: both locks must be the same type, i.e.
2 x ‘Power-on-to-unlock’ or 2 x ‘Power-off-to-unlock’

Lock/s can be powered from door station if:
1. Electric lock is ‘Power-on-to-unlock’
2. The lock is 12V, and holding current is less than 250mA
NOTE: Exit Button is not timed

The ‘Unlock Mode’ parameter would be 0 (default, no need extra programming)

 Automated Gates and Magnetic Locks

1. Connect low voltage box of the gates according diagram below
2. Additional power supply for Magnetic lock/s according lock specs

The ‘Unlock Mode’ parameter for ‘Power-on-to-unlock’ would be 0 (default, no need extra 
programming) 
The ‘Unlock Mode’ parameter for ‘Power-off-to-unlock’ would be 1 (needs extra 
programming via monitor ‘Installer Setup’)

Installation settings:

Using the keypad, type in following codes:
8010 # for ‘Power-on-to- unlock’ mode
8011 # for ‘Power-off-to-unlock’ mode
Next step is to set unlocking time. Refer to the ‘Installer Setup’ info or to the monitor manual 
because codes are different for different models.
NOTE: Lock/s must be connected before programming. Programming should be done on one 
monitor only. Settings will be synced with door station

Settings can be done either before or after installation

There are 6 x DIP switches on the rear of video monitor and they are used to configure the 
‘User Code’ for each monitor. Use Tables on the next page for programming monitor ‘User 
Codes’. DIP switch 6 is ‘End of Line’ switch, which has to be set ‘On’ on all monitors connected 
via ‘Star’ with DBC-4 distributor.
If monitors connected via ‘Daisy chain’, set DIP switch 6 ‘On’ on the last monitor in the chain 
only.

Precautions

•  It is ok to clean stainless steel parts of Door Station with ‘Brasso’ for example. 
   Be careful with glass and plastic parts
• The unit is weatherproof. However do not spray high pressure water on it directly. 
Excessive moisture may cause problems
• You must only use the power supply which is supplied or approved by the manufacturer

Cables Requirements

This  system  transmits  video  and  audio  through  the  power  cable.  No  Polarity  connection. 
Recommended cables Uncreened: twisted pair, flex multi-cores, speaker cable, CAT5/CAT6. 
Minimum requirements 0.5mm cable up to 2mm (depends on distance)
